thanks. Eliminate the left, and America would be well?

correct?

The "left" wasn't a political force until about 100 years ago.

Politics and elections were inconsequential, and that was true in Canada as well.

"Live let live" was the motto.

Then came the 'progressive' era, and along with it every form of government experimentation you can imagine - Nazism, Communism, Fascism, socialism. The common theme among all of these is statism - an ideology which proudly slaughtered hundreds of millions.

When I say "left", I mean political activists - those who lobby the government to "do things" - as opposed to a more neutral traditional consensus approach that says, government is there to protect my rights and freedoms, nothing more.

You want healthcare? Go buy it. Can't afford it? Ask a private charity. Leave your guns at home.

Government isn't compassion. Government isn't "free stuff"

Government is force.

And outside of self-defense, force is contrary to human nature. Nobody likes to be forced to do something - even a rabbit will fight when it's cornered.

So if millions of people don't want to buy what the statists are selling by force, do they just expect them to roll over and take it because "it's the law"? face)(*^%

The entire ideology of the "left" is fundamentally flawed, top to bottom.

how about both left and right? then start over.

How about the Enumerated Powers (Article I, Section 8) and everything else gets trashed? Note how this list hasn't been updated in a while...courtesy of 'progressivism'

Then start over adding or subtracting the authoritative capacity of Congress following the constitutional process.

The "pole-vaulting" politicians are the problem, not the people.

How exactly would that work?

Dave, have you heard of this?

http://conventionofstates.com/

[h=2]THE CASE FOR A CONVENTION OF STATES[/h]

[h=2]The Problem[/h]The federal government has overreached its Constitutionally established boundaries and has its hands in almost every area of our lives. Our children and grandchildren will inherit a bankrupt nation run by an inept bureaucracy.

[h=2]The Solution[/h]Article V allows us to call a Convention of States to restrict the power, jurisdiction, and reach of the federal government, effectively returning the the citizens' rightful power over their so-called Washington DC leaders.

[h=2]The Strategy[/h]State legislators and citizens working together can recover the problem checks and balances and limitations on federal power to ensure that our liberty is protected from the abuses in Washington DC.

is the RX the proper platform? blaming the left DAILY at THIS PLACE?

Where in my post did I blame the left for the lobbying etc. Pull your head out dude. Read don't skim and at the very least do not assume. If you are going to participate read what is written. As far as change goes, that is on the left, you elected you know who not me. If you are going to GO FOR IT at least get it right (not far right) LOL.

glad I was able to make you chuckle, at my expense. Hope it made you feel good, ...I do. You come across , in general , as bitter, angry. YOU MOST CERAINLY have blamed the left and stated the hope lies on the red side(no? )

have you considered using your wisdom, intellect, to reach the masses?

btw- I did not elect anyone....blame brings peace, I get it
