Almost got the 85 Samsung but the Sony has better picture and sound
The TV that it's replacing has no speakers .
it is a pioneer krp 500m.
Still to this day it's considered the best tv ever made.
It was the last plasma that pioneer ever made so I do have a sound system for that one because I have to with it having no speakers.
I had to send it to the bedroom because I just moved into a new much bigger place where 50" is not nearly enough.
Im going to give this new set a try with no sound system to see how it goes. It's supposed to have the best sound system of any set. We will see.
I actually haven't had it delivered yet. They had to get it from out of state. Also had to get it calibrated.
ETA will be Wednesday.
According to people who know much more about this stuff then me this is the best LED UHD on the market.
But I'm also told not to expect it to have a better picture then my KRP 500m because 6 years later it's still the best.
But unfortunatelyplasmas no longer exist and oled which will one day exceed plasmas are not there yet.

Sony is one of those companies that has great stuff and shit stuff.
Gotta be real careful with them.
Some things they is is top notch.
