Upon further reflection on Scott's words of wisdom, I would like to change the proposed bet to just include the poly forum, as I don't really care if I get banned from this place for a year, but I'd like to be able to post in the main forum. And, even if I think Vit is lying, it's not worth it to me to put that at risk.
Vit can take that bet, or leave it - up to him. And, he can have all of basketball season to meet up with Scott and verify.
Since it would be at a 76er game, that's doubtful. After Football season. February, March? My question about that is my Online Heritage History only goes back 14 days. I know I can go back further if I ask CS, but just for online display purposes, it's 14 days. How do they get around that if Scott is just going to look at Vit's logged in online account? But just getting a Bet verified by a 3rd party on one of these things, would be be refreshing for this place.

It's a natural reaction to want to strike back when someone hits you. And even moreso if you feel the punch was south of the border. For a long time I would react the same way in these forums. But now I look at it differently I suppose, and before responding I ask myself if the person who libeled me or treated me unfairly has caused me any real damage. Because in my life there are so many things that could happen that could hurt me. And many are beyond my control. But in here? Besides post private info that could jackpot me, nothing really. I'll bet if I had both of you guys on a phonecall I could squash all this shit in 15 minutes. But a small bet. Not my entire balance!
On the whole it's over-the-top nasty what posters say to each other in here. At times we have all crossed the line. I imagine all poly boards are similar. It all begins with our different sets of values. If I can explain to another poster why I disagree with him without becoming angry or insulting that makes me a rarity in here. Likewise if the other person can respond in kind he is uncommon as well. But some people are sensitive to certain things that others can brush off. And words can be misinterpreted. And one match can start a.....Christ I need to quit rambling so much!
