first of all i NEVER said "inside info" i'm merely giving yoo a goddamn perspective, and some local KNOWLEDGE that perhaps, people in say fla or calif, or oregon might not be aware of.

secondly, what in the f*ck do i have to gain by wasting countless minutes typing all this -- i've been here for nearly four years and my one and only motivation here is to help others, but if you're too cynical to realize it i'll gladly quit wasting my time.

thirdly, not that is a bit of you f*cking business, but i know two beat writers, one front office person and two third level coaches!!! some which quite personally!

i apologize for trying to help -- jese!~

Easy, dude, it wasn't a personal attack, sorry if it came across that way..

re: "first of all i NEVER said "inside info" " ok, my bad. You suggested it came from inside the organization.

re: "what in the f*ck do i have to gain by wasting countless minutes typing all this -- i've been here for nearly four years and my one and only motivation here is to help others, but if you're too cynical to realize it i'll gladly quit wasting my time."

If you'd quit just because I questioned your source, you need a thicker skin! ;)

re: "not that is a bit of you f*cking business, but i know two beat writers, one front office person and two third level coaches!!! some which quite personally!"

Well, if you know coaches on a personal level who are spilling details, then it IS inside info, don't apologize for it.

Hanson, I always read your stuff and you are looked at by most as one of the best. Whether this guy was flaming or not be above using profanities and don't sink to anyone's level. You are looked at as a pro here by alot of us. Don't let anyone get to you. Good luck :toast:

own a const. co, and if you are not at all familiar w/ that business -- whatever can go wrong will -- today most all did. just now getting back from a bid letting got the job -- nice size one -- so, at least the day ended well, not til nite but it did end.

anyway, perhaps the aforementioned caused me to be a bit hasty with my words -- i have a bit of a short fuse -- when i was younger and hung out at local establishment it cost me some stitches -- trying to be more patient -- tonite i obviously was not, and for that i humbley apologize.

as for the coaches i know, don't worry -- they have done nothing to compromise their positions -- ironically, i also have an aquaintenance w/ a minority interest in the team and he's ALL vikes to win outright. haven't personally talked to him in a while, but other people i know have recently and have conveyed that message to me.

one more thing, do NOT expect anything from moe williams this weekend. he will not play. which is a severe blow to this team almost more mentally, than physically. but a loss that cannot be over-stated enuff.

you have nothing to apologize for hanson bros. the hardest form of communication is expressing ones self thru typed words in a format like this. this place is full of percieved insults or misgivings even tho what was written was meant with the deepest respect. we all have real issues and pressures in our real lives and having hard earned money on the days action can be stressfull.todays done so look to tomorrow. on a side note..its amazing how many differing opinions everybody has on the playoff games. clarity becomes clouded and i find myself stepping away from here and going at the games as i would normally.we allhave a system and i have mine. so now ill ad my 2 cents worth for the 1st time.i couldnt do any worse than most of us did last week right? i think too many points are being layed for the steelers with a rookie at QB so im taking the pts and the jets.i make atlanta a 3.5 pt fav and so im taking the rams. i think the eagles line is an honest one and the public is buying all the national media love the vikes have gotten.the eagles are hearing it too and i heard a few eagles have commited themselves to get this win and get one step closer to the big game and a chance for T.O. to play again this season.and finally im troubled by the colts/pats game.my line is pats-6 but the line opened at 2.5 and its down to 1.5 now? as much as i hate to see this happen i think the oddsmakers have really good info for this game and its a trap.lineflaws like that are hard to ignore.my best friend has seen how my numbers seem to work most of the time. and they do. she asked me on many occasions if so and so is 6 pts better why arent they then? if any one has thier own system and you make new england a td fav but the line is 1.5 dont you have to stop and ask why arent they 7 pt favs then?im no manning fan but he may get a big win this weekend. the most improbable upset of the 4 games would have to be indy upsetting a riled up pats team after vanderjagoffs comments earlier.im sure ill be shredded for sharing my thoughts here but i just wanted to jump in.gl everyone.~RG

I know that he and Moss have about 1.5 ankles between them, but they will be taped and injected to prop them up for the game. I'm not too worried about that.. if they get past Philly, it will be interesting to see if either has much more to give.

Minny has more offensive TDs than anyone in the NFC, and Culpeper (265 lbs) outweighs EVERY ONE of philly's linebackers, AND their secondary, and he's about the same size as the starting D-ends.

I think Philly deserves to be the favorite, their defense is superior and that matters most in the playoffs, but not by more than 7.5 pts.

Let me add my 2 cents from a Philly perspective;

I get the impression(I don't know anyone on the team) from media reports, player shows, etc that the Eagles and Reid were embarrassed by the way the season ended. And all the criticism they got for it. They are focused, loose, and confident. All the no T.O. they're done talk, and the Vikings hype has gotten their attention. They want to make an emphatic statement that this is McNabb's team not T.O.'s. So I expect a huge effort from the Eagles this week. I look for my fellow Villanova alum Westbrook to have a big game. I'm just waiting for the line to bottom out before I get down.

it's very funny that you say that ".... so many difeerent opinions your mind gets clouded...." last year i hit a documented 70% here (look back and check it out) however, i was DOWN $43,000!!!!!!!! i had a thread regarding this issue, and it had about six pages worth of replies. for the second time in my life i lost my mind while i was gambling -- it was crazy!!! i hadn't even realized it !!! i know that sounds crazy, but i always thought i was up, or at least even, predicated on my performance??? i was getting frustrated that i wasn't making more money when i was capping so well, so at about this time last season i went over all my bank withdrawls and was shocked/depressed/flat out pissed off at the results!! i have four different books collected from some, obviously paid out to others, and had never realized the severity of the problem. i'd play my games, and then would look thru the RX oh, he's hot throw a nickel at his 5*; and oh sh'e hot throw a dime at her 50unit, and so on, and so on. thus, i completely understand your plight -- it is very easy to become disillusioned here. i know everyone (most everyone) is here to help, but at times the arguments become very persuasive. anyhow. good luck to you dear unfortunately we are on a cdouple oppisite sides:neenee:

from what i'm told: moss is a go, and won't be to ill-effected (more on that later), but that moe is done.

as for moss -- he's a little nicked, but should be fine -- IF, and here's the BIG IF, he doesn't start the game poorly. for IF he does he will use the injury as a crutch, and will digress from there. in fact, if they get down big, he will more than likely pull himself from the game completely.

you are correct about culpepper's size, but he plays more like 195lbs -- very light on his feet, small hands, and will avoid hits like ellen avoids men. i'm more worried about his 4.5 speed than his size. eagles should have a rover on him all day.
