I'm thinking of picking up socom 2 but with out the online option is it really worth it?

SOCOM is all about the online play....very addictive....16 guys playin the same game is awesome....it will take you a while to get decent but a lot of fun. Noreaga....the 1st RBI was great, id take the Cards and tear my brother up.

I was an intellivision kid. Their sports games were years ahead of Ataris. Anyone ever play em?

Intellivision baseball was cool, I think it was the first sports game that talked.

I'm playing Ghost Recon 2 on XBOX now and highly recommend it. :suomi:

Haha yea I played as well. Loved the bizarre sound that was made when the ball hit off the invisible fence.

That was a real pain in the a$$. Damn planes flew like they were missing one wing.

I completed all the story line missions in SA. Took about one month or so. But I don't sit and play all day long either. After all the story line missions though I really don't want to go back and do all those side missions.

I got so tired of having that dude call me on the cell and tell me the yo is on the way to san ferrio. I was always telling him, nah I'm busy man. Fvck the YO!!! I followed that truck one time. Picking up like $50 at a time? Not worth it. Plus the truck travels like it was a bullet train on rails.

Too much fun stuff to do, like:

drive around on my ducati, take my harrier out, roll in my M1 tank, take out the 767, visit casinos.

I like the game. Can you tell? :lolBIG:

doom 3 and the expansion to it is great.
Can't go wrong with half-life 2 and its online mods.

lots of problems with those PSP's. a coworker had dead pixel problems right out of the box. He tried to return it but they wouldnt take it cuz already had too many take backs. so he sent to Sony, they shipped a new one. Again dead pixels. Going thru the process again.

That's why I always wait a little while on new things such as this so they can work the kinks out. I have 2 of them on layaway, not sure what to do with them now......

Thanks Chops, I'll look into it. Playing Area 51 now. Not enough time for too many games at once like in the good ol days, lol. I also put a down payment on the nex XBOX 360 due out towards the end of the year..........
