What's the difference between the pathway for the Kracken vs. LVGK? The problem was the other GM's making decisions based on salary rather than talent and performance. Fleury had a few good years left huh?...that is a bad GM decision. Other GM's gave up on Nosek, Marchessault, McNabb and Karrlson all still big contributors. They also had a number of other solid players who have since moved on PLUS the LVGK GM traded for Stone, Pacioretty and Piertrangelo. The owners pocketed the expansion fee and LV made it work, not Bettman (although I see the irony in his name and the perceived favoritism for Las Vegas)

it all means squat unless a Cup is won. No one cares if you come in second

'GM's making decisions on based on salary and not talent/performance?' not really, u cant protect everyone and if your organization is deep, well yeah, someone with potential is exposed . Karlsson ?he had a grand total of 16 goals in 162 games with Columbus, lol , cant be too surprised he wasnt protected , can ya? . he exploded for 43 the following yr with Vegas. I was tho, shocked that Florida didnt protect Marchessault . Still cant figure that one out, assuming it must have been cap related

Knights r except from this expansion draft, lol . Kraken cant touch any of their players

Stone, Pietrangelo and Theodore will make Team Canada's Olympic team next year-- that team will be so stacked that Stone will be on the 4th line @)

Well that puts the game over the total so we will see if LVGK can score enough.

Habs are 9-0 or 9-1 when they score 3 or more so do they get there tonight?

Easy road to Cup with the Knights being a 4-1 favorite over Canadiens.
Gotta love hockey
More drama and upsets than lame wokeball
Seems like upsets in basketball happen mostly with injuries
Hockey is far superior in action and drama

The speed of the Montreal forwards was evident. They put pressure on the Vegas defense the whole series. (<)<

congrtas to the Habs, fuckin' stars aligning for these guys. Basically a gift in Game #3 from Fluery, they took it and delivered in OT- to theri credit . Were the better team in Game 5 and delivered today on home soil. Winning breeds belief, knocking the Leafs out let loose a runaway train headed by an ELITE goalie

kudos to Bergevin-- team was too small a yr ago, he goes and gets Anderson (that was a steal) , Toffoli. They had the courage to play a skilled little guy with no NHL experince in the playoffs-- just threw Cole into the fire, lol.

Vegas? top two lines were MIA the entire series ....did that first line play at all ?@)

Well, so much for that 4-1 favorite. I had no money invested in the outcome but it just shows how hard it is to get to the Stanley Cup Final and win it. This is actually good for Canada and hockey tradition to have one of the original teams have a chance for the Cup. Remember the Canadiens used to be the Celtics, Yankees or Packers now Patriots of professional sports with 24 cup victories.

Hopefully Montreal can carry it through for the Cup. Disappointed, but not surprised by the LVGK performance. They seem to be satisfied with playing the best-in-league regular season hockey each year.
