Perfect storm for them right now for several reasons and a 4 game win streak. The West teams appear to be playing at another level but with Gallagher looking better every game that bodes well for them. Price, Weber and Gallagher make them go. They took Penguins out last year as an 8 seed and Gallagher was a big part of that. Even without the suspension I had Montreal taking the Jets out but might be wrong. We will have to see what kind of pushback the Jets have tonight.

Bad idea to bet Vegas at that number though I believe they win
They are a better more talented version of Montreal
But Montreal plays hard and has a good hot goalie
That can always be enough
Many teams have ridden a hot goalie and a team willing to hit and or block shots to the Cup Finals
Usually it is not enough to win it all though
Agreed that there is no LV value in that number. I have some on the Knights to win the Cup and may press that, but can't take them for the series. They opened at -300 here in LV for the first game...also way too rich. Actually wish Toronto would have made it through rather than the hot, tough and blessed Canadiens especially with Price. Might even be on Mont in game one and then look at series value on LV if they lose.
Would never lay 4-1 but it does look like Vegas's time to finally win the Cup. NHL set them up like no other expansion team before. Whoever heard of a first year expansion team going to the Stanley Cup Finals. They were supposed to suffer for several years as they built team. Now in their 4th season three conference finals and one Stanley Cup appearance with a chance at another. That's crazy. The Knights have an extremely smart front office and there are lot of teams who haven't come close that are very jealous that Bettman made it so easy for Vegas to succeed.
