There isn´t a single vaccine out there that is 100% effective. Many of the individuals vaccinated won´t have an adequate inmune response to the the vaccine and therefore they won´t have protective inmunity against the disease. This being said, in a population, the more individuals vaccinated, the lesser the chances of the disease spreading, you are basically playing with odds.
From my personal experience in animals I believe vaccines do work. But like everything else in medicine, several factors will help you decide if the animal should be vaccinated or not depending on his health status, which vaccines he needs and at what age. That´s why a doctor should help you make that decision, and yes, there´s bad doctors out there.

Over past 30 years, I've had likely a half dozen (or a couple more) situations in my outdoor work where I had to go to the ER to stitch up a cut that could not be closed with a bandaid.
They always give me the "If you haven't had a tetanus shot in past 10 years, you need one now or else you could get lockjaw and other Terrible Outcomes"

They even make laws against whistleblowers- the truth will get you imprisoned these days. They run a tight ship but there are still plenty of leaks that can expose them. All you have to do is think about it as long as you can until the ADD kicks in and you reach for the Ritalin.
Seriously- were not building minds any more- were wasting them.
No one will be allowed to speak their mind for much longer.
Soon the Iron Curtain will hit this country.
Internet 2 is also coming as an adjunct to this erosion of our right to have a mind undamaged by the drugs they put in the water the food and the vaccines and places like the RX will cease to exist as debate will no longer be nesessary or shall we say politically correct.
