Grosjean is 4-2 over Haas, nothinr recent but I feel some relevance. They are the same age, came on tour about the same time, plus 1 of the wins was in Stuttgart and must have been a bad loss for haas.
In round 1 haas had an easy matchup with clay courter Sanguinetti who had prepared poorly for the US open. I expected 3 sets, but Haas took 5.
Grosjean had what for him was a tough one against a fellow Frenchman, against whom his record is very poor. He won it well.
I make this 50/50 so have not bet either guy, Haas is fav due to his recent good US hard form and Grosjean has not been too great since Wimbledon.
Haas has an early break but I would expect a long match here.
