Actually I discuss the substantive issues all of the time. I am in favor of fortifying the South Border with Mexico to keep illegal aliens out and to stop the flow of illegal drugs. I am in favor of ending sanctuary cities. I am in favor of deporting illegal aliens. I am in favor of getting tough on illegal aliens that commit crimes. Look at the percentage of illegals in our federal prisons (probably 30%). I am in favor of limiting immigration from countries like Syria. If you look at the amount of money that it costs the United States to support the illegals the figures are staggering. I am in favor of not allowing a new immigrant to the United States to receive welfare. Let's take our Islamic immigrants. They are very smart at manipulating the welfare system. Welfare reform itself is an entirely different discussion that I am prepared to have. Again, lets talk substantive issues.

Yeah, even though Trump is an idiot and very dangerous because of his lack of understanding the issues, I agree with him on the temporary ban and some of his immigration stuff. But a lot of this still will be out of his control when he's president. Much of what he said cannot and would not be done because of the court systems. So much of what he says would be blocked and not possible. Unfortunately, many just hear his rhetoric and think it can actually happen.....if he wins, nothing will change and he will blame the courts and dems for not getting anything substantial accomplished.
His speech didn't prove anything and it showed that he is a cold, ruthless bastard....no new plans and only said that he was building a wall....In fact, a couple of his backers resigned from helping him after his visit to Mexico....

Reporting from Guatemala City, Danilo Valladares of the Inter-Press Service (IPS) notes that there will be one more barrier for Guatemalan immigrants in their trek to the United States. In addition to dodging dangerous drug traffickers and immigration officials, the latest obstacle is emerging: a wall between Guatemala and Mexico.
According to the head of customs for Mexico’s tax administration, Raul Diaz, the Mexican border state of Chiapas is constructing a wall along the country’s southern border with Guatemala, along the river Suchiate which divides the countries. Diaz says the purpose of the wall is to prevent the passage of contraband, but admits, “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”
According to Mexico’s National Commission on Human Rights (CNDH), 500,000 people from Central America cross into Mexico illegally every year — the vast majority of them attempting to reach the United States. In addition, smugglers reportedly use the Suchiate River to move goods across the international border without paying duty taxes.
Just as Mexican authorities have opposed more strict border enforcement and the construction of a border fence along the U.S. border with their country, Mexico is now receiving a great deal of criticism from Guatemalan officials. According to IPS, Guatemalan civil and government organizations have called the move “senseless,” saying a border fence will not prevent undocumented migrants from crossing the border on their way north.
