And Chop, tell me how much money you want to wager on SF > 10.5 AND NE < 10. If they split, I'll still pay you the value of one wager. If I don't win both, I lose.

You're a broken record that's batting zero zero zero with respect to the Patriots.

Even your stone cold locks already done deals have gone down in flames.

I don't think every other poster combined as been more wrong about the Patriots than you have.

beings that I have never been a hater like everyone else on this forum besides pats fans I’m surprised to hear you say that.

what I said was “if” this story is true Kraft buried the teams future .

I have no idea if Kraft forced this trade or not but if he did he’s to blame.

Whoever was in charge or made the decision to trade him is at fault how’s that?

And as far as Jimmy G goes I’ve been touting him as a superstar even before he was drafted while he was in college .

I have hundreds of post to prove it.

And so far he is every bit the superstar I said he was going to be .

As early as next season he could be the best QB in the nfl .

Meanwhile guys have a 42 year old that is showing major signs that Peyton Manning 2015 is not that far off.
Just remember Peyton Manning 2014 broke nfl records. Peyton Manning 2015 could barely complete a forward pass.

Have fun watching Brain Hoyer lead your team in the near future while the qb you just traded established himself as one of the best in the game

You said there was zero chance pats would trade him and that Brady wouldn't be the starting QB this year

I have a hard time believe this....

"One report says the rift involves a power struggle over who deserves the most credit for the team's dynasty.
"

My guess is this is a completely fabricated story.

I believe this 100%; success breeds ego and given Belichik's management style, no doubt that he has a huge ego.

Chop, haters hate, they make it possible for the Patriots to be a cash cow.

You on the other hand make outrageous predictions about roster changes and consequences. This is what I'm referring to in my post. Not that you pick them to lose every week.

I believe the story 100%

For the simple reason, you traded away Jimmy G.

That made absolutely no sense.

And you got nothing in return.

Something smells real bad behind closed doors.

Oh yeah,& Jimmy G. went 5-0 as a 49er....lol

Seth Wickerstam a good NFL writer, I'm sure a lot of what he is saying is true and he just blew it up a little. He really didn't say anything that interesting, everyone knows Belichick hates Guerrero (who seems like a bit of a quack)

I don't think people understand the Garapollo situation though. He was a FA in a few months, he wasn't returning to be a backup for another year unless the Pats franchise tagged him (which would be pretty absurd to do for a backup QB) so they either had to go with him or Brady. What team is really going to trade Brady in that situation? Pats are the favs to win the superbowl and he is probably gonna win MVP.

Belichick is getting his offensive & defensive coordinators ready for coaching jobs next year......he got rid of both back up Qb, Garapolo & Brissett & IMO, he's gonna retire after this year.

Kraft will be left with one Qb that's over 40, lol......bye bye Pats dynasty, you've had a great run, but now its done!

I could definitely see Belichick coaching another team or perhaps he thought he could win with Jimmy.

He has a huge ego, 1 of the reasons he is the best. And I think if he had a good chance to get a superbowl without Brady that he would do it.

I mean it's sports, anything can happen. 18 years a long time, nothing is forever.

18 years of a dynasty is unheard of in the NFL & we will never see it again IMO.......

Belichick tried coaching at the Browns & failed miserably.....but so has every other coach since Bernie Kosar took the to the playoffs in the 80's.

Belichick should just retire & be glad he had 7 SB appearances & 5 SB winners, so should Brady, jmo.

Why?

They are both still performing at a high level. They should try to keep it going as long as they can.

Who cares if it ends badly? Everything ends badly, or else it wouldn't end.

And Brady is famously unhelpful toward his backups -- or, at least, a threat like Garoppolo. The two quarterbacks were friendly, but Brady -- like Joe Montana to Steve Young and Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers -- didn't see it as his role to advise Garoppolo, even on matters as trivial as footwork, as nobody had helped him during his climb. Garoppolo played well in 2016, starting in place of the suspended Brady, and Belichick began to see Garoppolo as the final piece of his legacy, to walk away in a few years with the Patriots secure at quarterback. But after Garoppolo was knocked out of his second start because of a shoulder injury, he set up a visit at TB12. As he later told Patriots staffers, when he arrived, the door was locked. He knocked; nobody was there. He called TB12 trainers but nobody answered. He couldn't believe it, Garoppolo told the staffers, and that night ended up visiting team trainers instead. Guerrero vehemently denies ever refusing to see any player, and Garoppolo was eventually treated at TB12 -- but it was two weeks after he showed up for his original appointment, and only after a high-ranking Patriots staffer called TB12 to inquire why Garoppolo hadn't been admitted.

if its really a business, they should have never traded jimmy g, the torch was lit and ready to be passed but they (or kraft) didnt have the balls to go thru with it.

Ego? I don't know if that is the right word. If anything I think conviction is what you are looking for. He believes in what he had planned for the future, and was infuriated that the Kraft family couldn't see what he had set them up for.

I think it would be harder to do than people think. Brady easily best patriot of all time and arguably most revered Boston sports athlete ever. Coming off another great season with another contending team.

I just dont see a scenario where NE would cut him after the season. Maybe you would do it in a video game on dynasty mode but it just wasn’t gonna happen in real life whether people think it is the right move or not.

Im just talking more generally Im sure he’d love to win without Brady if the opportunity presented itself.

NE couldn’t keep JimmyG without giving up Brady and I doubt B.B. had any desire to do that. This idea that Kraft was like “deal jimmy bro” and BB didn’t want to is highly embellished.

They couldn’t keep both, not sure why people don’t understand that.
