I appreciate the unbiased feedback/reporting of your experience with Right Angle Sports.
I do not think there is any question that the biggest drawback for people subscribing to RAS is the intense competition to place wagers before lines move that takes place after each release, particularly the CBB totals. It can make the service very inconvenient to follow, and also frustrating when you are not able to get a play at our release line.
There are many techniques that people use that allows them to get the release line or better fairly consistently, but it does require some creativity and expermentation with different sportsbooks and methods, (phone, online, etc.) and you have to be very fast.
I am constantly advising clients that if the initial line movement is missed you should take a wait and see approach. More often than not the line will move back towards the release number, especially at this stage of the season. In February the sides have only beaten the closing line by an average +0.31, and the totals by an average of +1.63, both down considerably from earlier months. Market timing and line shopping is always critical to optimize results regardless of following a service or betting your own plays.
Now with that being said, the line movement situation on RAS plays is the ultimate evidence that you are getting some of the highest quality plays that the general public has access to. The RAS CBB totals have hit at a 61% win rate over 3+ seasons and a 500+ game sample size, while beating the closing line by an average of more than 2.5 points per pick. You will have a very hard time finding comparable long term numbers anywhere else.
That brings us to the ultimate question as to whether or not it is worth all of the trouble. If your bankroll and unit size justfies it, and profiting at sports betting is a high priority for you, then the answer is definitely a yes. RAS is certainly not for everyone, it is not "easy" money or the solution to all problems, but I can say with confidence that we have helped most of our clients profit more than they would have without us and that is what it is all about.
