Jumbo has 6 riders leading the peloton. This is a great opportunity for Roglic to finish off Bernal as Ineos is down to 2 riders and Bernal will be exposed in the final climb.

indeed, :)

what is this guy, the fuckin' iron man?!?!?

JUmbo tried to wear him down , set a crushing pace ....cant break him.......fucking wow. He was basically on his own for the last climb . Rest day tomorrow .

2020 Tour de France is a 2-man show, both from the same country- Slovenia

kermit can pogacar win this? I think Jumbo has to be concerned at this point , lol

i expected today’s stage to be the deciding stage and it sure decided more than anyone anticipated! It’s now Roglic verses Pogacar as Pogacar wins today’s stage with a closing sprint over second place Roglic ! Roglic still holds the lead over Pogacar by 40 seconds. Richie Porte finished a close 3 rd.
Big shakeup in top 10 as Bernal is finished and will probably withdraw I’m figuring with a back injury. He certainly wasn’t the same as we’ve seen last year !

No question he can win this race ! I’ve noted before that when you get to the final Km of a steep mountain stage, it’s one on one ! Just like today’s stage, there’s no rule against just hanging onto Jumbo’s Train until the final dash to finish. In the end it’s all about who has the legs!
i think it’s huge for Roglic to hang onto his yellow jersey lead going into the Individual Time trial as we know that Pogacar beat Roglic by 9 seconds in their last Time Trial ! It’s always an advantage to race last in Time trial where you know what time you have to beat. Pogacar only gained 4 seconds today but we still have some tough mountains to climb.

i think it'd be a mini-miracle if pogacar wins. 40 sec lead and by far the best team is jumbo- i mean NOT EVEN CLOSE. This Jumbo team would gvies Sky' teams of yesteryear a run. That was a dominating performance today, Wout bascially shattered the peloton

Roglic is now -400

its his to lose

like I said, Jumbo was as totally dominant today on this mountain top steep finish as I’ve ever seen. However who won the stage ? My point is that in the end of these steep mountains stages it’s who has the best legs ! I didn’t see Roglic domination of Pogacar today !

one thing is for certain, Ineos is dead, lol. They were indeed ripe for the taking in 2020!!!! :)

Froome yesterday

“It's definitely Roglič's Tour to lose, I agree with that,” Froome told Eurosport. “I'd love to see Egan [Bernal] win but at the same time, I think Pogačar is not far off either. He seems to be the freshest out of all of them. He seems to be at ease all the time. It's amazing to watch him race.”

Let’s face it ..... Ineos was getting old ! Froome is 35 and Thomas is 34. I seriously doubt that either of those would have made any difference in this year’s Tour.

today's stage winner Tadej Pogacar:

We thought today was really a stage first to go in the breakaway we had Marcato but then Jumbo just set the pace really high all day and made it a really difficult stage. In the end, I was waiting for a sprint. I’m so happy to win again.I think Jumbo was really prepared for today. In my point of view, there was no sense to attack.I don’t know what happened [to Bernal] but Jumbo did a really hard pace today and some riders paid for it.For the moment [Roglic] seems unstoppable but today Bernal cracked and maybe another day I will crack or Roglic. We don’t’ know in a three-week stage race. There are still opportunities.

Primoz Roglic:

"For sure, I also wanted to win today. The team did a really great job but in the end I was a little too short. It was a good day for us. The guys were really flying today. Chapeau to each and every one. So far we are really doing a great job here in the Tour. It's not an individual sport, cycling, for a really top performance you need a strong team around you. It would be better if I had gained four seconds but I was a little too short, and he was better today. I'm happy with how it went. Now, tomorrow a rest day and we start the final. {on Bernal losing time** I don't bother so much with others - who is doing well or bad - it's better to keep the focus on ourselves, it's the only thing we can manage. So far it's going really well."

Pogacar aint gaining 40 sec on Stage 20....so stage 17,18 are when he needs to somehow have a God-like break from this yellow runaway train , known as Jumbo-Visma

I’m not actually all that sure how that Individual Time trial might come out. It’s one of the toughest ITT I can recall as it’s all an uphill long finish ! Also it’s immediately following two very tough Mountain stages. Roglic is 30 and Pogacar is much younger at 21. Jumbo-Visma will be of no help In a individual time trial so let it play out. Like I said, Tadej Pogacar defended his Slovenian National Time Trial Championship over Primoz Roglic as recently as June 28, 2020.

He won't need his teams help if his lead is 40 seconds going into stage 20 Kermit

Froome is right ,or rather I agree with him it's roglics to lose . And after his team's showing today , I certainly understand the oddsmakers putting -450,lol
