snagged some Webb 50/1 at heritage. Disastrous front 9 but gathered himself and ended up leading R1 in SG:APP but nearly last at SG:pUTT. He'll turn that around as he loves Bermuda and will get right back into this thing. Gotta like how JT's striking it but the putting is simply atrocious, can't make anything from 5-10'

for a play-against i'd say English. He looked out of his element yday, lost badly OTT and only hung in there due to Hideki-like luck around the greens.

DJ/Rahm didnt drive it well yesterday but putted well. Rahm shot 65 and couldn't hit a fairway, lol...he had an AWESOME up and down at 6 for birdie, for a bomber he has such soft hands . Those two cant be happy with pars at 18. The field needs these two to have a 70/70+ round sooner than later. Obviosuly of all the players that started with a big deficit Rory is the most dangerous- loves East Lake, 2-time winner here. Birth of his daughter may have freed the mind?
- Morikawa, tee to green did anyone hit it better? putted horribly..think he sorts that out
-was that a different Leishman that played last week? @)
nice to see Im gets shit sorted, too good a player! missed only 2 greens

Champ tee-to-green also solid, like Morikawa. He turned a 64/65 into a 68

well a bunch of dudes did led by JT who's T2G stats were nearly 1.5 strokes better than the #2 guy on the day, Rory

but I did place a healthy wager on Morikawa 2R ML vs Champ -165 ... Champ won't gain another 2 strokes on the field OTT today

didnt think JT putted that bad, these arent exactly easy greens not all 10 footers are the same-stats can sometimes be misleading. Nice chip in at 14! he only 3 putted once, missed a 5 footer. Gave himself quite a few looks in the 10-15 feet, keeps that up and look out

putted well for 2 holes, ended well, but the 11 holes 3 through 13 he hit a grand total of 23' of putts. another -1.15 shots lost putting to the field which is sadly become his average round. almost all misses are left for last two tourneys and again yesterday but obviously isn't something as simple as alignment or he'd have corrected it. nobody hit the ball better on Friday fwiw...3rd OTT, 3rd APP, 1st T2G, 22nd PUTT

JT another -3.5 shots lost putting today, now more than -4.5 in the tourney which is dead last of 30

He's #2 OTT, #3 APP, #3 ARG, and #30 putting

it is definitely in his head now.... too bad because it's costing him the Tour Championship, FedEx Cup, and Player of the Year

for those on Im, congrats. I absolutely did not see him flipping a switch this week especially not in approach shots. He's #1 SG:APP

Value with Im at 10-1. Playing with DJ tomorrow will be interesting. Gut tells me it’s not a good pairing. But they are both calm go about business guys so maybe it’s good for I’m and DJ. He looks really good and throwing some darts. DR course and Koreans live some DR course style.

But I really like The pairing and value of Hatton 34-1 and Morikawa 15-1. I think these two will play very well together and feed off one another. Seems like the group who both shoot -4

DJ has problems under pressure. And 15 million is in the way this time. He went 3 hours today without hitting a fairway. But somehow he is grinding away.

Rahm about the same boat as DJ. He does like to creep back in when out of the picture as I mentioned last week before tournament and at 125-1. Not sure 10-1 value is that great though.

Xander has an incredible 3 run history here and looks good. Likes these Bermuda greens apparently. 5-1 doesn’t hold value though imo

JT short game is amazing so far. Striking ball well. He just can’t Putt. He has been stat box checker every week and #1 guy for past 5 weeks. But just isn’t passing my eye test. Maybe I just don’t gravitate to him for some reason.

Rory and the baby adrenaline wore off after yesterday. That dunk in water on 18 sealed his fate imo. 17-1 has value though.

I don’t see leaders running away and think scores up top will be -2 range grinds. About what course averages out per round. 1-2 golfers will streak out a -6 tomorrow and climb in it. Webb has been off but sits at 250-1. Winning score likely comes in around -17. 1-2 shots out of a -6 -5 weekend for Webb to win. I do believe he will rally with a big score tomorrow. Too many guys up top who can shoot simple -2 or -3 and close the door on him.

I believe these greens get a bit firm and faster with heat next two days. DJ and Rahm seem a bit off. JT doesn’t need greens to get harder, and it’s only one shot but that 18th today and bogey rattled him. May stick with him.

I think Hatton is worth a shot a 34-1. Sungjae will still be about 6-1 if he has 1 shit lead after Tomorrow and big names are around him up top.

Pass for me but...

Hatton 34-1 (nice hedge equity)
and for a frisky big flyer I think Webb 250-1 will rally and close out at -11 heading into Monday.

lol

well the field got the help they needed from Rahm , DJ. Both continued their wild driving . With Rahm a two-way miss (shocking as he takes the left side out of play), DJ losing everything right . DJ? hit 1 fairway yesterday-ONE!!!!!!! somehow shot 70, kudos . Expect both to rebound with a sub 70 round. Im in the final pairing with DJ, and following a 64- hard to back today
-disturbing putting by Thomas, that wears on you. BUt if he can get a few to drop early may get a step back, he can go low. Tremendous iron player.
-Rory that was a great bogey at 18!..65/66 abd right back in it , assumming DJ doesnt say bye bye to rest of the field @)
-would be surprising if Xander fades. In his last 10 rounds at East Round he has been under 70 in 9 of them.

anybody think DJ got the driving sorted? lol....What a fuckin' beast.

par 4 512yd 14th slightly downhill hardest hole on the course - driver 337 yds, 175 yds to the pin ---wegde to 16 feet ...cmon.......64 to expand the lead

in his last 4 tournaments ? has had the lead entering Sunday in all of them...wtf......

FIVE shot lead into Championship Monday

BB18LKtW.img

4th round scoring is 18th on tour, 68.9. He shoots 68 tomorrow and someone will have to have a real special final round to beat him. A few big names loom......flag hunting Monday!!!!

thinking Rory might just go through the motions today. 50-60k doesn't move the needle for him like it would dudes like Munoz and Scheffler and knowing he has no prayer in the tourney he just wants to get back home to the new baby. He's been one of the worst in the field on final round scoring so took him over 67.5 and in h2h with finau +120 and hatton -105

YTD final round scoring
1 Bryson
2 Webb
3 Berger
8 Rahm
9 JT
9 Reed
16 X
.....................
100 Rory
104 Morikawa
130 Finau
137 Champ
150 Leishman
156 Todd
171 Hughes

Xander pulling a Hideki from last week. T2G he is just 0.52 above the field but is blowing everyone away on the greens at +7.08 shots. He's lost strokes around the green and on approach yet leads the tourney (without strokes)...playing in final group he's set up for a poor round IMHO. You just can't expect to gain 2.5 strokes putting on every round

after watching the first few groups you can tell the greens are cooked...they are like glass on 1-2-3. Leishman and Na bogeyed 1st, Smith doubled 1st, BillyHo bogey on 2

bad putters like Hideki and Niemann could be in for a long day ... I'm on Webb ML h2h vs Deki

very accesible pin at 2

1, 3 pins are tucked. At #1 great pin for the faders , aim centre of the green and let it bleed in. Lose it right at 1 and its DEAD

take that back, thought the pin was tucked more to the right at 1, not necessarily dead. nonetheless good pin for berger, rahm, dj, jt, morikawa- biride at 1 and its off to the races!!!
