Thanks for trying Wil, I had it stored somewhere but lost it, it was on a day when Ms.Collins still wrote for TheRx, and it mentioned the usuals..BW, BB, Cowboy, Tiger, Chip, Doyle, PittsJack, Herbie Hoops, Blackie, Swamper,etc..

It is funny that The General mentions The NBA Commissioner, as I once nicknamed BB "The Commish" to an NYC BM, in amazement at his annihilation of the NBA expansion season of '89-'90, I rationalized to him "anyone that wins at that clip..owns the league!", and the nick just stuck amongst their office and our betting office whenever passing the gravy.

The Swamper - I haven't heard that name for a while. Talk about not being bashfull about making a bet. U-Jean never had that problem.

QT is a degenrate gambler that bets every side and every total of every game on the board in NBA, not only that he will play 70% of the 1st Halfs as well. He has a decent opinion and has done ok, but hasnt proven to win over time like the BW and BB's of the world. Its not un common for QT to lose 15 positions on a night with just 7 games, good yes, the best hardly!
Chipster, I guess I have seen a couple of his lucky runs then. I was truly impressed; but if as you say, he does take so many leads based only on the rush, he might not be the sharp dude I thought he was.

Most are Russian, Chinese, or Austrailian
Railbird might be on to something... I once saw the account of a Hong Kong punter go deep into the six figures based on 2 unit plays... the unit was a dime...

Your estimate may be a tad high but I agree with you overall...

I'd say 75% because I do know several that visit the forums...

You would be surprised if I started dropping names, which out of respect for them, I won't do....

What's with all of these posts lately?

I think any post that says "Who's the best handicapper" or "how much do you bet a month" or "What's the most you've ever won" or "Whats the biggest payout you've ever gotten" etc should all be in the newbie forum. These are newbie questions IMO. NO OFFENSE to those who started the thread as I know they're just trying to strike up conversation but you're not going to get a real good answer and in most cases people just use it as an opportunity to enter into some electronic pissing contest with other posters.

There's no way to know because there are alot of people on here who are complete squares but put on a show to make others think they're some kind of high roller. There are just as many people on here who are succesful and don't say a word about it...or people just assume they're squares because they don't copy/paste their wagers or withdrawal requests.

If these pros (as a whole) are betting offshore, why would they not check in here so to keep up on sportsbook info?

I'd say just about every single North American wiseguy who bets off shore knows about and checks in on the RX regularly. This is their business and they are wise for a reason, they know to use everything they can get their hands on to assist them and stay updated in the market. They may not post here a lot, may not shoot the breeze with everyone and may not enter contests but they keep tabs on the place, guaranteed. Not every member here is a wiseguy but every wiseguy is a member.....;)

Asians and others who may not be as active in this same off shore market is another story entirely.

there are probably "wise guys" who give their "cousin" their passwords and let them run up a 50k debt and are known as "McStiff", allegedly...

Dime, i think R has been more successful on the other side of the counter. As far as who is the best, The person on these threads will never know, because the truly good ones are busy finding beards to move for them , or they do it themselves so as to keep a low profile. There are the exceptions that like all the media attention and things that go with it. More of these guys are full of B.S than the normal person. This is not the norm, but the exception. I am not throwing all of these guys under the same train. Thanks Budpar4

Professional Poker Player Martin DeKnijff from Sweden claims to be a successful professional sports gambler. He plays mostly soccer, claiming that lines on American sports are in general, too tight, and do not offer a significant long-term edge.
