The Rangers bats have been flat out awful lately. Without Hamilton in the lineup, they simply do not strike fear in an opposing pitcher. Kinsler can be a good hitter but when he's taking upper cut swings 80% of the time he's no longer an efficient leadoff man. Chris Davis is striking out nearly 50% of the time and yet Washington continues to run him out there vs the NL instead of benching him and running with Blalock at first. Other than a 4 game stretch where he was damn near unhittable, Matt Harrison is a very pedestrian back-of-the rotation pitcher. His last 3 starts have gone 5 innings each. Max Scherzer is another rotation arm but he's had a pretty good run of it the last 3 starts. I know plenty see the Rangers plus money as great value. I'm going against their anemic offense until they turn this thing around.

I really like the position that both teams are in tonight despite the Lester naysayers and the -280 price. While I'd rather not play the RL, we aren't going to risk 280 on the final game of a chase so RL it is.
