NIKE at end of trading Wed Sept 12 closed at company all time high $83

Poor Enflameo. He is going to be so upset at Nike whenever he sees a commercial for the rest of his life.....they are only going up. I bet you he changes the channel when he sees a Nike commercial. Must drive his wife insane unless she is as crazy as him.

You can argue personally. But to act like Nike is going to hit their downfall like Enflameo prays for every night before sleep....is not going to happen....ever.

I have no problem with Nike. Not sure why you think I do?

Gee, I don't know. How about 13 pages of your whining and cheers when you thought the morons that were burning their shoes were actually having an impact on NIKE's stock price.

Seriously dude, you've got to be kidding me. This thread is a fucking theatre of the absurd.

Wait, I'm confused. When the stock was down, you said "we'll see what happens." When the stock is up, you don't take the same approach? As in we'll see what happens?

I don't care about Nike. We still buy their stuff. I don't know what gives you the impression I don't like them? Their marketing campaign, if it alienates just one customer, is dumb. That's all.

Once again, just throwing your nonsense right back at you (you might try reading my response on Day Traders). The rest of your comment is pure BS. You're pretty much batshit crazy regarding NIKE and this issue, and anyone with half a brain can read your comments for the last 13 pages and see that. Give it a rest already. No one's buying your nonsense. It's more than apparent you'd like to see this company bankrupt.

That couldn't be further from the truth. I really don't care how they do financially. I have no vested interest in the company and so you can question what I'm telling you all you want but I don't lie.

I'm fascinated by the marketing move and think it's a bomb. You don't think it's a bomb. That's all. I can't make it any more simple than that. We agree to disagree.

Back to the avoidance. Again, anyone can read your comments for the last 13 pages (it's a little late to edit them now). The readers can be the judge of your nonsense and your thoughts about the company.

I don't know what else to tell you then. I couldn't care less about Nike. Wife bought clothes there over the weekend.

You don't believe me...cool. Carry on.

Sure.

For those that are keeping score from home, every metric this guy has used has been a swing and a miss (on this post and all his other ones).

-He tried to claim that the protests singlehandedly brought the NFL ratings down. Then when he was informed that ratings were down across the board for everything, and much worse than the NFL, he puts his fingers in his ears.

-He tries to claim that NIKE stock went down due to these silly protests, only to be informed that UA and Adidas dropped by more. And even though I told him that most people look at stocks over the long term, he keeps up with his stupid claim. And just one week later, the stock completely rebounds and is at an all time high. And yet he says he doesn't care how they do financially.

-Next, he uses his idiotic poll, despite the flaws that we all know exist with polls. And of course, one would have to ask if the poll was so accurate, why are sales up 31%? Clearly just another flawed poll, since if people hated them so much, sales would clearly be going down. A rational person would also have to ask if this was such a bad business decision, why are sales up 31%?

He hasn't had a credible argument since he started with his bullshit. And despite the fact that many of us may not care for the protest, what's even worse than that is some idiot that tries to fit everything into his narrative, and lacks the critical thinking skills to be able to look at things in a rational manner and realize that not everything has to do with his stupid protest.

Why don't you just talk to me? Strange.

Uh, because you ignore everything moron. You know...your little avoidance strategy when you can't refute something. You argue like a pussy.

You stuck it to him.

You won the debate.

Good job.

1) Protests did not singlehandely bring the NFL ratings down. There are many contributing factors to NFL ratings going down. Now, if you can show me where I said the protests singlehandedly brought the ratings down in this thread, great...I'll apologize.

2) The Nike stock did initially go down due to the marketing campaign release (I think you meant marketing not protests). Of course they did. What else explains the stock dropping in one day by 2.3%? There's no other explanation.

3) The poll was absolutely accurate. 8,000 people were polled from all demographics and political affiliations. Are you suggesting 8,000 people just basically lied?

We're talking about the marketing campaign not the protest? Why do you keep mentioning the protest? I don't care about that. WTF? We've been talking about marketing for 13 pages not the protest.

Then the name calling starts. It's a typical liberal move. Don't debate but instead call names like pussy, racist, jerk whatever. Stick to the topic at hand.

Bodyforlife - I imagine you're a pretty good dude. Don't take this shit so seriously.

Talk about marketing and the issue and have some fun. It's not that serious. Just relax.
