Friends, Families, and Children health concerns....it is amazing that you think this Pandemic is overrated...

Let me reiterate for the 1,000th time.

Friends - If any of them are over 65 or have a pre-existing condition, they should be quarantined anyway and not hanging out with an NFL Football player. If the friend is not over 65 or have a pre-existing condition, they have literally nothing to worry about (again, backed by scientific data not what CNN tells you).

Family - Same as above

Children - Same as above.

If you are over 65 and have a pre-existing condition, you can't be AROUND them a lot during the season. If they live with the NFL guy, they can't live with them during the season if they are over 65 or have a pre-existing condition. This isn't hard.

"Mental disorders affect more than half of COVID-19 survivors: study"

"...“We are really shocked to see younger age groups have similar complications” as older people, Salata tells me, adding, “We’ve seen it in some younger people who had no risk factors.”One does not have to die from Covid-19 to be severely affected. In Italy, where the outbreak hit hard before it did in the United States, some people who recovered from Covid-19 have been “unable to shake sickness and fatigue” weeks later. It’s too soon to know whether the disease might leave some people with enduring debilitations."

"...Those at elevated risk include 19.8% of people age 18 to 29..."

That’s the reality for all of us though and with how much money these make, it’s not too much to get a 1K a month apartment for 9 months so the guy can earn the money.

Enfuego calling NFL Players scared..... hahahahaha

I call them intelligent human beings making sound decisions for their careers and for their families....

What do you think the average IQ is for an NFL player?

Serious question. I'd put it around 88.5 over/under.

If NFL players are so smart, why do most of them need the NFLPA to make sure they don't end up broke in a gutter at 45 years old after making $20,000,000 in their careers?

So tell me again if they busted their ass, why their parents are living with them?

Not ALL parents live with their kids b/c they are broke.

Maybe a parent isnt in good health? Maybe the parent watches the kids? Maybe its cheaper for a parent to live in the house than to have her own place? Maybe the parent doesnt want to be lonely?

Who the hell knows.

I'm just wondering where you can find a nice apartment for 1k a month?

Pretty much everywhere that isn't a major city. Would just have to go to the burbs if you need to be around a major city.

Last time I lived in Knoxville, the apartments that cost $700 per month there cost $1800 a month in Chicago, same quality.

True, but these are NFL cities which are major cities.

How many NFL cities would have nice apartments for under 1k/month in a good area?

Do you not know how averages work?

The mixture of professional athletes and Twitter is rarely a positive one for sports organizations. For examples, you could look at Max Pacioretty‘s insult toward Brad Marchand last week, WNBA player Cappie Pondexter‘s assertion that the earthquake and tsunami in Japan may have been punishment for Pearl Harbor or Bills receiver Stevie Johnson blaming God for a dropped pass in the end zone. The list goes on and on and on. Now, you can add Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall to that list, and he may have instantly vaulted directly to the top. The 23-year-old native of Illinois didn’t like the way Americans were celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden on Monday, and he let out his frustrations on Twitter. “What kind of person celebrates death?” Mendenhall, who last made national headlines for fumbling in the Super Bowl and “celebrating” a little too hard with Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs, wrote. “It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side …” Aside from the obviously questionable position of defending the most well-known terrorist in the world, Mendenhall is factually incorrect. Osama bin Laden was the founder of al-Qaeda, claimed to be the mastermind behind the horrific attacks on America on Sept. 11, 2001, has shown no remorse in targeting women and children in his attacks and has been the No. 1 most wanted target of the FBI. Maybe — maybe — you can make a case against the celebration of a man’s death, but to say we’ve only heard one side of the story, to suggest that we, as Americans, are brainwashed into hating this evil man, that’s more than a little over the line.
