Although I don't necessarily disagree with you BAS as Eli's best years are behind him, I do think the comment might be a bit harsh considering the Giants have one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Dallas sacked him 6 times last night and he was hurried or hit on most of the plays. No one is going to do well behind that line. Shy of maybe the Bills, can you point to one line that is worse than the Giants? Beckham and Barkley will not be ranked in the top 10 in their respective categories when this year is over. Mark my words.

believe it or not the Browns offensive line is horrible, Taylor sacked 10 times ( more than Eli ), 49ers as well. But they still make plays, still score points.

Hey maybe losing halapio is a good thing, he went down in the 3rd qtr, and the Giants played better in the 4th ??

I think you’re being a bit harsh now calling this newly revamped OL, that includes the left tackle that protected Tom Brady the last 7 years, one of the worst after only 2 games. Losing Halapio hurts a bunch, but they have definitely upgraded from last year and just needs time to work together and I think they will get better. I sure hope so anyway lol.

Eli also has a higher QB rating than Taylor and Garoppolo. And neither of those QBs have faced the defenses Eli has faced in his 1st two games. Just trying to be fair here.

If they improve, I'll give them credit. But right now, they're terrible (granted they've faced some tough defenses so far). But last night's game wasn't anything special. They were simply getting beat by basic schemes. Al Michaels and Collingsworth said it all night long. That has nothing to do with individual players beating them.

He aint moving quick enough at 38 to be.

Father time has arrived though

Yea you’re right. They went up against arguably the best D in the league in week 1 and gave up 2 sacks, and then had a bad game against a rival, so that definitely qualifies as one of the worst in the league. That’s a good sample to make that conclusion.

Uh huh, you can disregard the rest of the comment all you want. Last night's game had nothing to do with some superior individual players beating them, it had to do with defensive schemes. Again, Michaels and Collingsworth said it all night long. If you can't defend that, any team in the league will scheme you with average players and beat you. 'nuf said. Glad you agreed that I was right.

Father time has definitely arrived but even great QBs are not going to be effective with that kind of pressure put on them.

Last night I just don't understand why they didn't do a ton of those quick short slant routes to OBJ. Would have worked great against the blitz and he's a threat to take any of those short passes to the house.

Makes ZERO sense

Just look at his Brother. I believe Peyton should have retired before he did. Yeah he won a Super Bowl that last season, but he looked like a Broken down, beat up
hasbeen player. Guy had one good arm and one good leg. I almost felt embarrassed for the guy.

Eli should go out without looking like Peyton did at the end.

Eli going to go down as the most overrated player in NFL history .
Should not even sniff the HOF but im afraid they gonna let him in only because he played in NY and has the same amount of super bowls as Trent Dilfer and Mark Rypien combined.

Agree

Collinsworth said Eli has 4-5 more years left.

ROTFLMAO! I just spit out my drink...that's hilarious!

Justin Herbert will be the Giants future QB when he gets drafted next year.
