Don’t kid yourself. Insurance companies can no longer deny coverage for preexisting conditions but they can make the cost prohibitive.

So how is that win win?

i wonder who are those who can't afford it seriously? as far as win win, it will ever happen. too much greed, patient non compliance, carcinogens, fast food, etc. The industry screws ya and we are a nation who doesn't give a fuck about our health.

Well, there are 26 million people who are eligible for subsidies. That’s a lot of people who can’t afford to buy health care insurance. I would imagine they’re just ordinary people.

I am guessing that these people didn't have insurance or couldn't afford it before ACA. It's a good article but these people could get insurance and don't know it which identifies my beef with it. This was pushed through quickly and too many people not a clue what it is all about. If they would have spent more time on it, but I suppose the opportunity was there to pass it so they did. This could have been a great plan if it were not rushed and had good bipartisan work on it.

you are a nut who spends his days on the computer attacking Obama. Get a life, typing about how mad you are on a daily basis isn't doing any good either. go out and enjoy yourself, find a new hobby

Attacking no, complaining. That is a full time job, 24/7. You need a new hobby other than "attacking" anti-Obama posters. Why don't you defend Obama instead. Find a new hobby lol, that could be you.

Agree. There was no need to reinvent the wheel.

Adjustments could have been made such as opening buying across State lines to promote competition, tort reform, etc.

When the ideology is Government can do it better that’s what you get, a clusterfuck.

ACA rates are not that bad yea they are higher for many but I would blame the insurance companies first and foremost because they can't tell people NO anymore.

Huh?

Why would you blame insurance companies for higher rates when the government effectively insisted they can't deny anyone coverage anymore? What else could they possibly do besides raise rates in order to compensate for the influx of patients who are going to be a guaranteed net loss for them?

So the government makes something more expensive and you blame the insurance companies.

Makes total sense.

You don't see me posting routinely. I would consider many of his complaints to be nutty. I defend Obama when I feel the need and I will crack him too. You guys everything is bad and it's endless drivel. I have never seen so many people wanting a president to fail from day 1.

:ohno:

Maybe people didn't want insurance? You do realize that having access to an insurance card doesn't mean you will see a doctor, right?

I'm wondering if you could stuff any more platitudes into your posts. I think you should try.

I for one didn’t want him to fail but I knew he would.

I said that from day 1 and I haven’t been proven wrong yet.

You just refuse to accept the fact that Obama is a skew up.

He has gone from least prepared man in the room too a petulant child.

What is your point? Of coarse having insurance doesn't mean you will use it. One reason why health care is fucked.

Far and above? Meaning what, exactly? Insurance companies can't charge more than customers are willing to pay, or else some competitor will come along and charge less.

The problem is this industry is now so over fucking regulated that it is anything but free market. I don't know what percentage of the current insurance costs you pay can be tied back to some government red tape, but I'd wager it's pretty high. I'll put the o/u at 70.5%.

Is Obama really a petulant child?

I think the answer is a resounding YES!

The Obama administration reportedly is fuming over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plans to address Congress in March regarding the Iranian threat, with one unnamed official telling an Israeli newspaper he will pay “a price” for the snub. Bad Bibi, no soup for you.

House Speaker John Boehner invited Netanyahu -- and the Israeli leader accepted – without any involvement from the White House.

In public, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest politely describes this as a “departure” from protocol. He also says the president will not meet with Netanyahu when he visits in early March, but has attributed that decision only to a desire not to influence Israel’s upcoming elections.

But in private, Obama’s team is livid with the Israeli leader, according to Haaretz.

"We thought we've seen everything," a source identified as a senior American official was quoted as saying. "But Bibi managed to surprise even us. There are things you simply don't do.

“He spat in our face publicly and that's no way to behave. Netanyahu ought to remember that President Obama has a year and a half left to his presidency, and that there will be a price."

The anonymous quote was a throwback to when, last year, Atlantic magazine quoted another unnamed senior administration official calling Netanyahu a “chickenshit.”

Administration officials, including Earnest, did not deny the quote at the time, though the White House stressed the criticism did not reflect how the rest of the administration views Netanyahu.

On Friday, Earnest once again was asked about tensions with the Israeli government. Asked if the decision to speak to Congress was a slap at the Obama administration, he said, “I certainly didn’t interpret it that way.”

As for the decision for Obama not to meet with his Israeli counterpart, he stood by the earlier explanation.

“This administration goes to great lengths to ensure that we don’t give even the appearance of interfering or attempting to influence the outcome” of democratic elections abroad, he said.

Meanwhile, Haaretz also reported that Obama had directly warned Netanyahu to stop urging U.S. lawmakers to back legislation teeing up new sanctions against Iran.

Obama has threatened to veto such a bill, saying it could derail delicate talks over Iran’s nuclear program – and Netanyahu’s visit to Washington could give him an opportunity to further encourage sanctions legislation.

Does he mean it would derail the delicate talks that have been going on for over two years? How long will it take for Obama to realize he’s being suckered? Or maybe he isn’t being suckered, maybe he actually wants Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Haaretz reported that Israel’s ambassador already has been urging members of Congress to support the measures. The newspaper reported that Obama told Netanyahu to stop during a Jan. 12 phone call.

On Friday, Earnest acknowledged that Obama and Netanyahu have a “fundamental disagreement” about the diplomatic talks with Iran.

“He doesn’t share [the administration’s] view,” he said. But Earnest also said the “differences of opinion” do not undermine America’s commitment to Israel’s security.

As Obama officials often do, he described that commitment as “unshakable.” It doesn’t look that way from where I sit.

Spite and evil go together. Sickening.

"I’m going to tell you something and it’s going to be unconformable. I don’t care how many wealthy Jews Obama surrounds himself with, I don’t care how many wealthy Jews contribute to his campaign. This man has all the signals of an anti-Semite and I’m not going to take that word back. I believe this in my heart and my soul. It’s not about Israel, it’s about what’s in Israel." -- Mark Levin

President Obama’s State of the Union.

Our diplomacy is at work with respect to Iran, where, for the first time in a decade, we’ve halted the progress of its nuclear program and reduced its stockpile of nuclear material. Between now and this spring, we have a chance to negotiate a comprehensive agreement that prevents a nuclear-armed Iran, secures America and our allies, including Israel, while avoiding yet another Middle East conflict. There are no guarantees that negotiations will succeed, and I keep all options on the table to prevent a nuclear Iran.

But new sanctions passed by this Congress, at this moment in time, will all but guarantee that diplomacy fails—alienating America from its allies; making it harder to maintain sanctions; and ensuring that Iran starts up its nuclear program again. It doesn’t make sense. And that’s why I will veto any new sanctions bill that threatens to undo this progress. [Applause] The American people expect us only to go to war as a last resort, and I intend to stay true to that wisdom.

Sounds a lot like, If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.

JUST AS NETANYAHU WARNED THE WORLD; SEE WHAT HAS JUST BEEN UNCOVERED IN IRAN BY A SPY SATELLITE...

Israel Today Staff : Jan 23, 2015 : Israel Today

Iran has made "very rapid progress" in its long-range missile research and development.

Iran has produced a 27 meter-long missile capable of carrying a warhead "far beyond Europe." Israel’s Channel 2 News broadcast satellite images of the missile at a launch site near Tehran (pictured). (Photo via Israel Today)

The missile was ostensibly built to ferry satellites into orbit, but could also be used to deliver warheads nearly anywhere on the planet. Israel has also produced and successfully launched missiles with such dual capabilities.

According to the Channel 2 report, Iran has made "very rapid progress" in its long-range missile research and development.

Israel accuses the Islamic Republic of working toward nuclear weapons technology, and a long-range delivery platform would be an integral part of such a program. Iran denies that it is seeking a nuclear bomb.

The images presented by Channel 2 were provided by the Israeli satellite Eros B, a commercial observation satellite developed by ImageSat International.

Uh, no. Perhaps that will be his legacy among a small segment of the US population, but not among the vast majority of Americans. Honestly, who cares where he was born at this point? Even if his place of birth is Pluto what does it change? He's still going to be a two term President and there is nothing you or any other birther can do to change that.
If the real truth is found out later everything passed during his illegal presidency is null & void right?

If the real truth is found out later everything passed during his illegal presidency is null & void right?

Including judges.

This is what the birther movement has been trying to accomplish all along and the reason his records MUST BE unsealed and investigated.

It's criminal fraud, no matter how you look at it.
