I dont like to play over/unders, but in this type of game, where I see more ball control from Alabama as well as for Hawaii initially before they take their chances deep, also add in the weather conditions, and the Under definately looks like the play. I dont see a high scoring game occurring either way. Still, this is just my opinion, and I am guessing here, so take it for whats its worth. Good Luck. CC.

Capt, agree with you, UH +3.

Rain is coming down pretty good, anyone know what Timmy's record in rain is? As usual, the entire game will be on his arm.

I've got laundry hanging and it's soaked!

GoUH, well its me and you , as the others from Hawaii sees this game the other way. I think that this game will be a combination of Chang and Weldon both playing QB. Weldon was given snaps and time last week, I feel for a reason, besides resting Chang. It will be an added advantage for the Warriors if Weldon plays, as he could keep the defense honest, because he can also take off and run with the ball. I hope this rain stops and the shining sun comes out. You know we position the visitors on the side directly facing that hot sun. I think someone heard me as the rain just stop all of a sudden. Go Warriors!

Can you tell me if Tammy has shown that he is anywhere near the Heisman hype he was given before the season started? If throwing 5 yards over an open receivers head or 5 yards into the ground in an open receivers hands than he has done that all year. Wieldon hasn't played much this year and I can see Bamma putting on some pressure which will cause stupid mistakes by the QBs. Are you serious?

Hawaii ain't gonna have much of a home field advantage as most everyone is looking forward to next week vs Boise since Bama was here LY. Plus da rain, you should know most of the fans in Hawaii are made up of the elders, they ain't gonna stay and sit in da rain, come on.

If I knew you I would hook you up with one of my locals which has it at -6.

No worry Broken, I get several local books at my disposal. Your mistaken about next weeks game against Boise St. being on the minds of Hawaii. Boise St. not important anymore. This game has more advantages for Hawaii. Next weeks game is just another WAC game for them. Timmy doesn't deserve my praise, his WR deserve that praise. I dont care which QB plays today, as long as they minimizes the turnovers, they should be OK. There is a concern, and it is definately on the O-line, I hope they can do a better job today protecting whomever is back their.

The rain is off and on, and should stop by game time. So I am not worried about it. This Alabama team is not even close to the team that came here last year, so I dont know why people so scared to go against them. Last years team was ranked and had 9 wins when they came here. This team is in no way close to that team. Are you seriously, expecting Hawaii to go down so easily in this one. If they was such a difference and advantage with Alabama, dont you think the line would have reflected this. And I am not talking about the local lines either. Hey, no time for talking anymore, got my plays in already. Just wait till after the game, then we can talk. For now, just going to relax until gametime. Don't get hurt.

Co-Capt I'm with ya bud...Bama is not that good this year.

Well gang, theres about 1 hour and 30 mins. till game time, and the weather continues to be bad. The rain is still coming down at a steady tricle, and there is no sun what so ever in sight. They sky is overcasted, but there is no wind.

Agree Capt. I don't think Boise is even on Hawaii's radar screen, the game is meaningless at this point. Now if the WAC title was on the line, maybe, but too late for that.

Also, I think Whieldon is more dangerous in many ways, the key will be the turnovers.

I'm still thinking Bama doesn't show up, they are not that great this year and UH is really hyped up for this national TV game at home.

Maybe over simplification but, if bet against Hawaii on the road, and on them at home, your gonna usually come out ahead in the end.

Rain shouldn't affect the O/U, but wind might. I see HI expecting mid-teens wind at game time -- could be enough to keep under total. Any live input?

FYI, I am even more confident in this selection, as a strong service called GD West has their play on Hawaii which is also their TV GOY. This year, GD West was reported to be 4-0 on the year in games involving Hawaii.

Well gang, just like that, the rain has stopped. Still overcast though. This game is going to be at 2:45 pm HST and all the lights in Aloha Stadium will be on.

update on the weather. 30 mins to game time, and the rain for the last 45 mins has not fallen one drop. Currently, it is still very cloudy and overcast. There is no wind at all, and the temp. is a warm 77 degrees. The rain which fell earlier, looks like it was not enough to soak the ground. It seems that the new stadium turf will be able to dry out with its new drainage system installed with the turf. If it continues like this, the only thing missing will be the sun.
