Jazz,

Notice how he has not responded to your question.

I have a few "friends" that might like to play here. We'll see.

Chalk: the way I view things are this way ...

(1) Wagerstreet has never looked kindly on bettors betting off-lines - period. They are known to take action.

(2) I am now much more inclined to believe you about the '60-70' sportsbook thing because Bob went out of his way to ignore directly answering my question about that. People get hot and say the most gawd-awful shit, no harm there, but when they go out of their way to ignore a specific question about it, they have their reasons.

Bob, I personally think Chalk took a small shot at you and has to deal with the consequences, as I believe he is. But I fail to see why he'd bother to make up this other story about the threats (implied or otherwise) unless they had been made.

Jazz,

I suppose if the shoe were on the other foot, I would see Wagerstreet's point. I know if I were a book, I wouldn't want the sharp action as well. That being said, I would still be FAIR about the house policy and not change it to advantage the house anymore than it already is.

He definately sidestepped your question. People may not appreciate what I did tonight, but I believe they do appreciate my honesty and sincerity. I have nothing to hide and I would not fabricate any story just to slander a book. I've been doing this way too long and besides, it's just not my style.

I took a shot. I lost. Actually, I split, but according to Wagerstreet, I lost.

People will do what they want when it comes to online gaming and where to bet at. I just hope people will make their own educated decision after they are informed with all the facts. The fact is, he was rude, arrogant, abrupt and he did threaten my personal information being given out. But on the bright side, I did learn a thing or two about KARMA ...

Bob, that's a pretty dumb email to send - "chance was against you". I'm curious - do you and SIA share the same building out on that reservation? If so, have you ever asked them why they have the world's worst customer service rep?

Wagerstreet:

"Wagerstreet.com is located in Kahnawake Mohawk Territory, in Quebec, Canada. Kahnawake, a sovereign Mohawk Reservation, is located approximately 15 minutes away from downtown Montreal, Quebec."

Our Mailing Address:

Sportsinteraction (SIA):

"Sports InterAction, located in Kahnawake Mohawk Territory, Canada, is the first online sportsbook to be fully licensed and regulated in North America."

Chalk: yeah, it's cool, I knew you'd admitted you took a shot which is more than a LOT of people will admit. Point is, Bob can't admit THEY took a shot. I do believe he did make that threat to you, most of all because you willingly admitted you took a shot - why bother to be this specific if he didn't say that to you?

Man, and these books scream about the impending U.S. legislation and cry about how unfair it is. I don't like it either, but the kind of crap going on makes you dream of regulation to where books are actually held accountable for ALL of their actions.

Jazz,
Keep in mind that Canadians aren't in the habit of manufacturing evidence like Americans are thanks to their corrupt government. I think this needs to be considered when we're determining character.

Aside from the asshole with the French flag that hit me with a beer when I was 10 during the Sabres / Nordique playoff game, I've never met a dishonorable Canadian.

Jazz,

I could not agree with you more.

All in all, I took a shot, but "chance was against" me.

I wouldn't expect Bob to admit he took a shot. I don't know him personally, but after speaking with him tonight on the phone, I think it's fair to say we shouldn't hold our breath.

Have a good evening. I appreciate your correspondance. It's been a pleasure talking with you tonight.

Take care.

I'm off to bed to think about the lesson I was told tonight.

Lander: you're one hell of a character! LMFAO!!! Ever check out the Toronto Stock Exchange??? Talk about manufacturing evidence!!! However, I must assume you haven't met that serial killer up there but only because the Canadian government won't even let you know he's there.

another sportsbook taking bets and then cancelling them after the game goes off. terrible precedent.

bob, your threat, which is obviously what you did, is despicable. it's called extortion.

Halifax,

What's wrong with taking a shot? Seriously, I don't own the book, I don't manage the book, so why should I care if the book posts a bad line? It's not my fault. Believe me, I understand the other side of it, but after the way I was treated by Bob tonight, Bob needs to run a tighter ship. I am not responsible for posting the lines, nor am I a linesmaker.

The bottom line is they cancelled my wager after the 2nd half had started. It happened that I ended up losing my wager that was cancelled and lost the wager that was not cancelled. You can say I got my "desserts," but the bottom line is they are not playing by their own self-imposed rules. You can call me what you want, but don't forget about Wagerstreet either.

I want people to see Bob for the way he treated me tonight. I won't say the whole book lacks class, because I only spoke with one individual tonight, but it's very obvious the situation could have been handled by a more professional, more understanding employee/supervisor. He tries to play Mr. Nice Guy on here because he knows the outcome of his actions have a far greater impact on his business in here than they did with just me on the phone.

CE,

You don't have to be a veteran of this game to see through Bob's smoke. He's trying to play the cool and collected game, but he's far too smug.
I am making deposits into three new books in the coming weeks, his won't be one of them.
Good luck

Well, that pretty much says it all.

Not much more I need to say.

Chalk -

You bet a bad line.
You tried to middle both sides of the same game AT THE SAME BOOK.
You did both of these within 24 hours at the same square book? LOL

If your account was closed and you were paid promptly, you should have no complaints.

So if you make the judgement, wrongly or rightly, that someone is an "illegitimate" player, their privacy goes out the window? I would never play at your book. An internet business of any kind has to have a privacy policy that is strict, consistent, and not based on the angry whim of a line manager when he feels someone is scamming.

You have every right to cut off a scammer but if you stoop to harming someone by releasing private info, you have big smelly balls talking about "karma" to anyone else, friend.

Skyweasel what private info would I be giving out? I don't understand your point. I never said that I would email books his social insurance number. A simple "if you have player John Doe" - be careful he thinks its proper to play reversed favorites and have them honored.

I'll also let you in on a secret, most players who think that books should honor reversed favorites, which was the main point of his phonecall. Also tend to attempt chargebacks after you cancel the "reversed favorite" wagers.

Regards
