What's funny is that you ask me the question in response to a post I made that shows a top 20 team that Ohio State beat outside of the Big 10. In fact, I posted that they beat Texas, who was a top 5 team. But, you probably didn't know that just like you didn't know the line of the Ohio State/LSU game last year.

Answer me this? Who has Ohio St beat in the top 20 besides their stinky conference teams in the last 3 years.

jdigae, you're post makes way too much sense. You might get banned. :lolBIG:. Well said my friend, well said.

no one cares who they beat. look at the covers, thats all the matters here isnt it? no one is saying they can win outright, and they dont have to. but ur bashing someone and you dont even have ur facts right. take some time to gather the ACCURATE facts and then post. :103631605

I told you in a post earlier. Two years ago they won at #2 Texas easily as a small road underdog. The line is inflated because of public perception.
I forgot, they did beat 16th ranked Texas that year, who also lost to Tex A&M and Kansas St.
That's the only big game they won besides Tressells only Nat Championship.

My plays are up........:103631605

16th rated Texas? LOL. Dude, you might just stop posting all together. Texas happened to be #2 in the country when they played Ohio State and Texas was a two point favorite. Again, please research the facts before you start distorting them.

Big deal. He had an opinion and it was wrong, you've made three statements on here and stated them as a fact and were wrong on three counts. Big difference between having an opinion and being wrong and just stating wrong information.

They ended up 16th at the end of the year in 2006. And beat Iowa in the Alamo Bowl 26-24.
I should know because I had Iowa+6.

You asked what ranked team they beat outside of their conference in the last three years. I stated they beat #3 Texas, which is what Texas was ranked at the time of the game, which is what you asked. You didn't ask "what was the final end of season ranking of the last team Texas beat out of their shitty conference in the last three years". You asked what the rank was of the last team they beat out of their conference.

Have you ever had a sprained ankle from playing a football game. I have in college. You can't run on that ankle unless you get a shot in it.
But what happens is the shot wears off and the ankle starts to swell up and he'll be useless back on the bench in the second half.

thought it was his foot, mainly his big toe, and not his ankle...either way he is 100%...they are playing hooky...he was fine last week too but they didnt need him...games gonna be closer than people think...no one is talking about OSU defense...they will be up for this game...say USC wins by 4

I had Iowa in that game as well but the line was Texas -9 not -6. The line opened at 10.5 and never went down to 6. If you bet it, you should know the line.

That being said I think USC is the better team but I sure as hell dont like having to lay double digits to a team like OSU. I am on OSU or nothing here.

I'm just wondering if this is the 3rd time YOU have taken OSU figuring they couldn't lose by double digits.

If not you then I bet there are plenty out there who are -- 3x losers taking OSU with dd. I can't think of many teams that could do that at any level in any conference. OSU is one of them. Could that mean they are overrated? You think?

It's like Woody is trying to get everyone to agree with his points and will keep asking questions until he finds one he gets an answer to he likes? If you want to question Ohio State on these points, then who has Oklahoma beat out of conference in the past 3 years? Oregon? California? Texas? Arizona State? Missouri? Georgia? Winning at Texas is probably a greater out of conference win than any of those teams can boast, no?

I think Tressell was playing a little sly fox last week. Of course they were looking ahead and they are making a much bigger deal about the injury than it probably is (don't coaches almost always do this). The media has bitten into this "injury thing" hook, line and sinker and we all know how the media persuades the average bettor. If bettors never turned on the television or listened to a talking head their winning percentage would probably go up 7-8% automatically. Tressell knew they could win last week without him and without showing ANYTHING. The Ohio State defense is good enough to keep this game close and like someone else said Ohio State doesn't have to win to get the money. In fact, they don't even have to stay within 10 points. The oddsmaker has offered a very generous line in my opinion but the public seems to think it's not enough. We'll see.

No sense arguing with you because your a Mister Know-It-All...

My line was 6 because my local was from Iowa. I guess you also think lines only revolve around offshore sportsbooks.

My brother-in-law who lives in Ca. was given 13 from his book. He called the bet in with my Dad who lives in Pgh and his local has 9.

Ohio State might have been overrated before but how they are overrated now? They are a 10.5 point underdog when three weeks ago the line was 3.5? Ohio State is hardly overrated now by the oddsmaker and if you're handicapping games the oddsmaker is all you're worried about. The oddsmaker has made up for the apparent "overratedness" of Ohio State.

Or maybe he hasn't. Would a 20 point USC win say they are still overrated?
