The whole RINO thing is odd to me. Why would you want to build the smallest, least inclusive party possible? That said, RINO or not, Kasich has been disappointing. I'd still maybe vote for him in the general election but it'd be more of a vote against Hillary. The fact that Guesser likes him also makes me wonder.

Kasich is the most normal out of the candidates but he has no chance of getting thru a primary when the primary voters are Dave and Joe types. The Republican primary voters are getting more and more far right.

If you actually believe the whole "the fringe right controls the party" narrative, you should be taking advantage of the generous odds on the fringe right candidates to win the nomination. The reality is we're more likely to get a Rubio than a Cruz.
