I said I would let sleeping dogs lie, as I have no dog in this hunt, but I think a neutral voice of reason is needed. I see many jumping on board for the "great" system, and do not want to argue, but you all need to see that despite the fact this "system" has produced a great record, there is really no consistent logic. Read the original post, the language in the system and then ask yourself how the two plays above fit in the same system. Good Luck to All! I am personally looking at these for plays: Maryland, Western Michigan (going against this system) & Oklahoma St.

Depending on the system you posted in tread #1:
Of the top 60 Sagarin-rated teams, FADE EVERY team ATS whose strength of schedule rating is 60 or worse unless they are facing a team whose SOS rating is even lower than theirs.

a) Of the top 60 Sagarin-rated teams: W Micigan is in top 60 (57)
b) FADE EVERY team ATS whose strength of schedule rating is 60 or worse: Rice 101 SOS (60 or worse). >>> Can I fade RICE instead of W Mic? If Yes, go to c)
c) unless they are facing a team whose SOS rating is even lower than theirs (W. Michigan 109 SOS is lower than Rice 101). >>> Therefore, I can not fade Rice. The system does not indicate that if I can not fade the team I should play it. To me, in this case, we can ignore this play.
