did the under push as well?
any body bet it

Great question, talk about lucking out

Now the grading is making less sense

I would like to see the exact language of the proposition but I think based upon what you posted, the bet should be a winner. Unless it specifically said that the player must be drafted for the bet to have action.

Unless it clearly stated "Player Must be Drafted.." OP is in the right and should be paid... and Unders should be graded as a loss.

Even if Player Must be drafted, its a bullshit wager...

You're not betting 45.5-60 picks, You're betting OVER 45.5 Picks, Once that 45th passes, you WON.. you shouldn't then be on the edge of your seat hoping that he is drafted so your wager wins.

Sports betting is handicapping right.. He handicapped it correctly, that player wouldn't be drafted in the 1st 45 picks...
Absolute BS to claim anything else...

hate to be so back and forth, but after hearing both sides, I actually can understand both view points on this.

Bet an NBA Draft Prop last night that Gary Payton II would get drafted "over" pick 45.5 $250 at +120 or so. He goes undrafted so I win right?
no because he was not drafted at all
implied in the bet is that he is drafted
undrafted = void bet.

If Jow Blow is in the game at any time, but doesn't get a carry, the under is the winner. Gary Payton II was in the draft from the first pick to the last.
This is the correct answer. The Bet is an absolute winner. Unless there's something in their rules that players must be drafted in draft O/U for action, which I highly doubt. I can't believe this is even being debated by experienced gamblers.
Sometimes these prop guys in Costa Rica don't quite get American sports, and their rules. Especially the drafts. I had to argue with a Prop guy a few years ago in an Over/Under Defensive players drafted in round 1 in the NFL bet, that OLB wasn't an offensive player. The prop guy insisted it was because it has an "O" in front of LB. It was frustrating, and funny at the same time, but I eventually got someone who knew what they were doing, and they corrected it. Stick with it. Your bet is a winner.

Yeah, disagree with you. Nothing is implied here. If they wanted to void it based on the stipulation he must be drafted, that's one thing. I'd side with the book in that case. Since the book didn't stipulate that, then the man should be paid his money.

Hache, IDK, not being drafted is over the number

if the unders pushed, and I assume they did, I don't have a big problem with it

Guys the wager clearly said DRAFTED over or under.

He was not drafted period which makes it a push...
lol, this is like saying that if you take the Steelers o/u winning 1.5 playoff games and they fail to make the playoffs that you don't win your under bet.

hey they didn't make the playoffs so the bet is void, right? :)

clearly the spirit of taking this over bet would be that you feel he would either get taken after pick 45 or not selected at all.

but totally depends on how they graded unders. if they took in money for the under then didn't pay out for the over then that is bullshit. if all bets were voided due to being undrafted then...i guess...fair enough
