The NBA launched a marketing campaign for 30 shirts bearing rainbow-colored team logos to benefit a controversial homosexual-advocacy group.


“In celebration of LGBT Pride Month, we’re excited to announce a new collaboration between the NBA, GLSEN, and Teespring,” the three groups proclaimed. “Beginning on June 7, fans can purchase an exclusive line of Teespring NBA Pride T-shirts featuring the logos of all 30 NBA teams, with all proceeds benefiting GLSEN.”


GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, pushes discussions of homosexuality in K-12 schools. At one infamous conference sponsored by the group, speakers explained the practice of “fisting” to high school students and at another a retired gym teacher detailed how she told students in kindergarten that she kisses her girlfriend.

RUSSIA could steamroll NATO forces in just 60 hours, a leading US defense official has warned amid rising tensions with the west.


The alarming claim comes as Russia has deployed troops westward as part of its ongoing stand-off with NATO.
US Deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia, Michael Carpenter told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that the West and NATO were currently not ideally prepared to deal with a Russian threat.


The warning over increasing Russian aggression comes just four months after non-profit global policy think tank RAND raised “concerns about its larger intentions” and speculated Russian forces could reach those areas in 60 hours.


It warned NATO cannot successfully defend the territory of its most exposed members, the Baltic republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

A former substitute teacher wept as she admitted sexting and performing oral sex on several of her high school students.
Linda Hardan of Prospect Park, New Jersey, is facing five years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree sexual assault and two counts of child endangerment as part of an agreement with prosecutors.
At one point during the hearing, the 22-year-old was sobbing so uncontrollably the judge gave her a moment to compose herself.


She sent sexually explicit photos of herself to a 16-year-old student at a Haledon public school in November 2014.
Hardan, who graduated from Manchester Regional High School, also performed oral sex with another student of the same age and admitted that she engaged in similar sexual activity with a 14-year-old student the same month, the New Jersey Record reported.
Gyselle Da Silva, a Passaic County senior assistant prosecutor, said the state would recommend a sentence of up to five years in prison as part of the plea agreement.
When Hardan completes her prison sentence, she would be subject to registration and supervision requirements as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, and would be placed on lifelong parole.
Hardan was first arrested on November 21 after the unidentified teenager she reportedly assaulted in Wayne a day earlier complained to the police.

Throughout the 35-minute video - which was broadcast live on Facebook - Austen repeatedly called Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love "a little bitch" while making derogatory remarks about Chinese, Mexican, and Jewish people.

PALO ALTO (CBS SF) — Potential jurors in Santa Clara County are apparently refusing to serve in the courtroom of the judge who handed down a six-month sentence to a former Stanford University student convicted of sexual assault.


KPIX 5 reporter Len Ramirez confirmed Thursday that 20 jurors refused to serve in Judge Aaron Persky’s courtroom on Wednesday, citing the judge as a hardship.


The prospective jurors were there for an unrelated misdemeanor case involving a woman accused of receiving stolen goods.
