Dreadful, dreadful scenario. Penalty was Proper, Penalty was announced. Then, they come back and WITHOUT EXPLANATION, say the flag was picked up. That happens before the penalty is announced, not after. I can never remember a penalty being announced to the crowd, and then 2 minutes later it is reversed. In addition, an Offensive Player, Dez, came off the bench with no helmet to argue the call. That's another automatic 15 yards against Dallas.
This is not sour grapes. I made out like a bandit because Dallas won but didn't cover, as I had Det +7, and Dallas teased down to -1/2, the under 48, which probably would have lost had Detroit scored at least a FG there. But what's right is right. Detroit got screwed over on so many levels. It was a disgrace, and while I'm not one who thinks the NFL is fixed in any way, I can't dispute that the NFL would rather see Dallas advance, and these travesties that happened helped them advance.

Exactly how I feel 100%.
Perfect post.
I just dont don't understand how someone could start a thread like this.
Did anyone else notice on the drive which DET started at the DAL 1YL that eventually led to a TD that the refs missed a flagrant OL takedown on Stafford's 3D scramble that led to the drives initial 1D?
I never said JG did not commit offensive PI.stop with your idiocy now, especially about "starting threads. My god, the fucking irony.
If you actually observed something in this thread, you would have learned I agree with what the post you cited said. It was a point made much earlier in this thread and I concurred. So if that's a perfect post, then you're actually agreeing with me. The post didn't say it was PI, it said the circumstances were weird.
"I just dont don't understand how someone could" fuck something up so badly. All ass backwards and shit
I mean dude, you actually don't think Jimmy Graham pushed off when he fully extended his arms and the defensive player "coincidentally" moved at the same time and the same direction as those extended arms, please don't fucking lecture anybody about threads. (and he complains about people like JC)
I hate the stuff that I see during these games, but it's mostly because of the rules. Everything is holding, illegal contact, or hitting a guy too hard. The refs totally choked on this call, but it's part of the game. It is very hard to be an official and make these calls, and I don't think very many people could do it any better.
I had the over and was upset. I think it was an absolute circus with the way it was announced and then disregarded and it really made them look bad. I just don't think it's fair to anyone to question their integrity. As an ex-official with a lot of high level experience, I know that everyone I worked with competed everyday to try to be perfect. But controversy is unavoidable, and all we can ask of them is that they do their best.It is hard but it is also about integrity.....the ref who overturned the call should be investigated to see if he had any ties to the Dallas organisation or any of the players.....blatant decision.....Dallas got away with murder in the 4th quarter on both sides of the ball....
