sixth, that's perfect. I'm getting somebody I love

I hate being first or last, love the middle. the number 1 pick is a flop, and the last pick you're already thinking about depth

hope I can fuck up CY and Chop a few times (and they don't fuck with me)

I'm taking Reggie Wayne at 7. Please don't take him. I'm excited. First 3 years I picked 10 or later. I feel like I won the lottery.

If anybody would like the 3rd pick in the draft, I am open to trading down if the price is right!

[h=1]FAAB waivers[/h]Free Agent Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) make fantasy games even more realistic. Not only do you have to think about the best players to draft, but you also have to take into account your team's acquisition budget.
In a FAAB waivers system, each manager receives a dollar amount to place blind bids on players that are on waivers. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team's acquisition budget.
[h=3]FAAB Rules[/h]
  • The FAAB doesn't apply to free-agent pickups.
  • Bids are hidden to other managers until a player clears waivers. The winning bid will display in the Transaction log.
  • Players with multiple bids placed on them will display under "FAAB Bids" on a league's Transactions log.
  • The FAAB system charges you the exact amount you bid if your bid is successful.
  • The default FAAB budget for teams is $100. The commissioner of a custom league may change this amount at any time throughout the season by using the Acquisition Budgets tool.
  • There isn't an option to force managers to make a minimum bid amount.
  • The waiver priority will only change if 2 or more managers bid the same exact dollar amount on the same player.
[h=3]FAAB tiebreakers[/h]
  • Continual rolling list - Ties are broken based on waiver priority and a successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list. The losing bid will have a note next to it that states the reason why the bid was unsuccessful (i.e. lower waiver priority).
  • Reverse order of standings (Football only) - Ties are broken based on the reverse order of standings and successful claims don't affect waiver priority.
  • Weekly rolling list based on standings (Football only) -Ties are broken based on the reverse order of standings and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list.

I prefer the waiver process remains unchanged, it's not broken

You're still motivated to not waste a waiver pickup because you want to be high on the list should a stud become available

It also favors the teams that have higher draft picks to begin with, since the waiver process beginning with the reverse order of the draft (a built in equalizer to some extent) as been eliminated

It also favors guys who do no work, since they'll be the only guys left with money when the season winds down.

This change is no cure all, that's for sure. It's just something different, moving the goal posts, taking from one advantage to give to another advantage

I assuming this new process has no impact on weekly free agency pick ups, because if it does I'm adamantly opposed to it.

Personally I never liked the waiver process we did before. Free agent bidding is the most fair IMO.
