You can have Mike Williams or Denarius Moore if you like.

Or even Woodhead.

Its happened before.

Bruce/Holt
Carter/Moss
Wayne/Harrison maybe.

EITHER A lot or a little.

Either small enough to where I dont have to go thru the trouble of sending money to a mod.
Or big enough to where it is worth the trouble of sending money to a mod.

Yeah it is possible but rare. FWIW I don't think Bruce/Holt were ever the top 5 in the same year. Moss/Carter literally like 2 of the 5 best ever. Wayne/Harrison/Stokley were actually like 3 of the top 12 or something the year Manning threw 49 TDs so that is probably the best comparison.

I'll do up to a dime on each. While I'd trust you more than anyone on this board I do think we probably wanna settleup for peace of mind.

How about $250 each on each one.

I like this bet but dont love it.
If I was rating it it would be a 1 unit play.
I think have the advantage but its not like I want to bet the farm on it type of advantage.

thats fine...winner gets their buyback on the league (likely atleast)

Do you wanna settle on that or not?

Williams is actually intriguing...Moore would be awesome on any other team than OAK haha.

I don't trust any RB that I could pick up and throw across the room. Let me stew on that.

Postup? you said you wanted to postup if I wanted to bet it for a lot but then you said $250 I dunno if that constitutes settling up or not. Up to you, I'm fine with either way

Post up is up to you.
$250x2 is the perfect number for me and this bet.

Its about how much Im willing to lose on it and its about the amount of money that I would not have any worries about you paying if you lost.

I can post up if you want.
I have paid out over 20K to people on this forum.
If you are still uneasy about it pick a mod.

I'm fine with no postup with you. I just thought you wanted a postup. It's fine we'll settle on that payment thingy later

Dez vs Welker pts rest of year
Marshall vs Welker pts rest of year

I'm gonna go with the 2 big black dudes if that doesn't offend angrybear too much. Angry do yourself a favor and never go down to the Poli forum in this place.

League championship is week 16 so week 5 to week 16

Welker targets/yards haven't even been great through the best 4 game stretch of Manning's career and he has major TD regression coming. I'm probably around -180 to -250 to win both bets seperately although you do have correlation on your side.

Welker 60.6
Dez 52.2
Marshall 48.8 as of right now so that will save us some math at the end of the year.

Dez is soooooooooooo over rated.

Wont make the season and injuries do not cancel the bet.

Yeah its possible. Honestly I didn't factor injuries into it really.

Marshall probably more likely to get hurt than Welker as well. Welker takes very little punishment these days, doesn't really try to YAC anymore, just makes the grab and goes down Marvin Harrison style.

These BIG BLACK DUDES much more likely to get injury prone as they play more physical (oh man there is me being tacky and crass again)

Don't agree about Dez being overrated though. 2nd half last year to now he has been a machine and Romo throws to him all day (Austin is already dead too)

I will lay you +250 on that bet.
interested?
Anyonw who thinks Colston and Moreno is comparable to Welker and Gio is an idiot.
thanks for playing

You said you would think about Colston/Morris vs those 2 and it sounds like you have thought better of it...

This wasn't what I offered for McCoy anyway so it is moot but I'll bite...
I'll take this bet at +250 then since anyone who thinks they are comparable is an idiot according to you.

How much do you want to bet and we'll have to find someone to settleup with. Let me know

Should be an easy one for you since Welker has best WR in FF rest of the way potential and Gio has top 5 back potential. Also Colston is a 7th rd'er and Moreno is about a 9th... Guess I'm just giving it away today!

Wow. I just read everything that has been written in the last day. This is why I prefer no trade leagues. There is always too much disagreement on what constitutes a good or bad trade. It's just too arbitrary and by having no trades it takes any discussions like this out of the equation. Personally I think the trade is fair enough. The 0-4 team is desparate and I applaud him for trying to make something happen even though I would have never traded McCoy. I would take McCoy over anybody this year but that's just me. I myself think Thompkins has more value than some are giving him. I think he will be even more effective when Gronk and Amondola get back. He will get less targets but more meaningful ones in my opinion. I myself would love to have any one of these 4 guys on my roster. I think there a lot of points going forward with these 4. I'm not worried about any collusion between Dude and Walter. We are all big boys here. I think it's pretty cool we all have the trust to send $500 off to somebody we don't know except on a message board to possibly get paid if we win. Let's keep this league going and keep talking on our board here. Only downside here is not enough shit talking between everybody. I am in mourning today as I was in Ames, Iowa last night watching my Cyclones take one in the ass from the refs. Not much of anything going to make me feel good today. Good luck to all this week except to Tittsburgh Feelers who got 21 freaking points last night to that high draft pick Fred Jackson. ^^:) Give me a break.

Agree with you about McCoy. Yeah he could get hurt, he also could go 2000-20 and win someone 3500 bucks pretty easily. I think people worry about injuries too much in leagues that aren't heavy on sideaction. Only 1 team is winning anyway so upside is very important. If McCoy stays healthy I think he is the #1 RB as well with only AP really in the conversation with him. As far as the trade goes it is what it is, I wouldn't have done it but we'll see what happens.

I'm actually in a few no trading leagues and it is nice (I wouldn't want no trading for this league fwiw)

Everyone just does the auction, makes their picks and then gets waiver $ rest of the year. No room for any collusion, disagreements, pissing contests, etc...
