One last thing.

First off I think this makes Dudes team awesome.

This trade makes Dude the clear favorite to win the league.
Nobody has 3 RB's like him in this league.
Its not even close.

With all that being said you cant judge the fairness of a trade based on things like that.

The 0-4 team has to do what he thinks makes HIS team better.

Yes, I would have rather this trade not happened.

But I have to be objective about it and look at the intent of both people making the trade.

If I dont find anything evil or collusive I have to put away my personal feelings aside.

This trade will make it much more difficult for me to win the league but that cant be the basis for deciding if a trade is fair or not.

I said like 2-3 pages back that I would not void this deal. It is a solid deal but in a non-ppr league a back like McCoy is basically gold if he pans out. If he stays healthy he will be panning out.

I like Gio but he has some issues going forward.

I like Welker, he is like family to me (the #83 in my name comes from him I'm pretty sure? can't remember its been so long)

However I think you are overrating both of them a little and I'd be willing to bet it.

I do not have Welker top 5 WRs going forward. Gio could be top 10 RBs that position is so volatile right now who knows...

Interested in a Welker won't be top 5 WRs going forward bet if you want. Or Welker vs guys I name I like over him (these will mostly be big black dudes)

If we are going to make any kind of bet regarding this subject it needs to have the basis of this trade.

I would be willing to bet you 0-4's players vs 3-1's players going forward at +175 going forward with no injuries voiding the bet.

How come you don't want to bet on your opinion Welker is a top 5 WR?

Also why the trade? That is impossible to bet because replacement value could be > Kimbrell thus making the deal still posibly advantageous for thedude even if KT sucks, I think you know this.

Put it this way, if you think Welker is a top 5 WR you can get me pretty good right now.

What are we basing Welker's top 5 value on?
RX500 scoring system?

Also you said Colston is a 6th or 7th rd pick, how many WRs do you think are better than him? We can bet that too

I don't mean to stir things up again (really!) but its also a matter of turning down what I see as a superior offer (mine)...

Brandon Marshall and Lamar Miller for McCoy and Dwayne Bowe. seems like his team would be better if he took that trade instead of the one he accepted.

Gotta be honest grog I think that is a close one. Gio's upside vs Miller prob the tiebreaker there and even though Bowe looks awful with Smith I still gotta go Bowe > KT rest of the year.

I'd go Marsh over Welker pretty easily though.

And if dude is really not happy with the trade and McCoy I will give him Lamar Miller and Pierre Garcon for McCoy and Thompkins...

Have you seen Daniel Thomas play football? :)

I hear ya....a lot of those mid-tier RBs could go either way. Miller could go off (his schedule a lot easier than Gio) but he just seems limited upside wise and Gio will get a lot more receiving yards.

These guys are obviously very high on Welker and Gio (yet I can't get a bet involving either of them, go figure)

I think I could've done a lot better offer but some people like to buy high and Welker has a ton of momentum right now so people tend to overrate him a little.

i'm not great at math..... but:

Welker = #4 WR currently
Gio = #15 RB currently

Marshall = #13 WR currently
Miller = #23 RB currently

Want to expand on why yours is better?

Because Welker is on high powered offense, Marshall has Jay Cutler and cold winters
Gio has a bunch of upside and gaining more time, Miller is a piece of shit who can't beat out Daniel Thomas out of a job

hey thedude we're all good but I can't passup an opportunity to make $. A few pages ago you said "colston/morris ha" This means we can bet them vs Gio/Welker rest of the year right?

You obviously think they are awful.

Since those 2 are so good and Grog is crazy to think Marshall/Miller are comparable you should want to do this bet.

Quoting stats after a 4 game sample size is pretty flawed as well but I'm not trying to argue over subjective things I can't prove.

You are criticizing grog for having an opinion, gimme a break. Welker is #4 WR wow, yeah I'm sure he is gonna keepup that 25 TD pace.

i was saying it as if you wouldnt have offered it, b/c those are your only 2 good players.
would you trade Morris and Colston for McCoy?

I'm not strictly quoting stats - b/c right now Danny Woodhead and Jason Snelling have more points than Lamar Miller.
I just look at Welker and Gio vs Marshall and Miller and it is no contest imo

AJ Green, Calvin, Marshall, Dez, D Thomas all > Welker rest of the year

I'll let you pick 1 or 2 or 3

I dont understand what you are asking

since you all want to bet so badly, i will bet via the trades that were actually offered.

Grog - we can bet Welker/Gio vs Miller/Marshall since you think that was a better trade
Pats - we can bet Welker/Gio vs Colston/Moreno since that is what you offered
