There's no excuse for the way the North Koreans treated our son and the way they have treated so many others.

Fixed your post.

The community organizer left him there to rot, Trump brought him home.

The Obama administration warned Americans not to travel to North Korea. This kid was an idiot, raised by idiots.

But now that The Donald is in charge and everything is MAGA, I hope you decide to visit North Korea.

[h=2]'Kim-Jong-Un murdered Otto Warmbier': Furious John McCain says North Korea killed American student who was put into a fatal coma while imprisoned for stealing a poster[/h]

John McCain has accused the North Korean regime of murder in the death of American Otto Warmbier. The 22-year-old was detained for 17 months in North Korea for allegedly stealing a poster. He was medically evacuated back to the U.S. last week in a coma, but died at an Ohio hospital on Monday. The Hamilton County coroner is investigating his cause of death. Meanwhile, Young Pioneer Tours, the group that took Warmbier to North Korea, announced that they will no longer take Americans to the country.

Agree.

1. Don't be an idiot and go to North Korea.
2. Don't steal shit in North Korea.

This kid literally went out of his way to fuck up his life.

1) You don't know this to be true or accurate.

2) If it is true, you certainly don't deserve to be murdered because of it.

Fucking dumb comments.

There is video of him removing a poster from the hallway of his hotel.

And, you are right, you don't deserve to be murdered for it, IN A SANE COUNTRY.

But, when you exercise your freedom of choice to make two really stupid choices, you pay the price.

fat little donnie admitted today that "his North Korea policy" has so far been a failure

not too shocking given that his policy so far was to host the President of China at Mar a Lago and ask him to do all the work while meanwhile he waved his teeny dick by ordering the missile strike on an unoccupied Syrian airfield

comedy gold

So instead of being a douche, why don't you just wish his family your condolences and move on? Young kids travel to stupid places every day.

What N Korea did to the kid is way wrong.

But places like North Korea and Iran have very different rules than the West is accustomed to. Recognize that and respect it. Start by keeping out of those places. It's their country and it's their rules, no matter how uncivil by Western standards. That's the reality.

Because his dad wants to blame Obama when Obama is not to blame. Here is the list of responsible parties:

1. The North Koreans.
2. Warmbier, Jr.
3. Mr. and Mrs. Warmbier.

End of list.

His parents..really? The young man was a UVA graduate, had no criminal record and lived an exemplary life and was a 22 year old adult.

If you are blaming his parents it sounds like you have a problem with successful young adults who are brought up in a loving, 2 parent family setting.

What a ridiculous stretch of an argument to make. How did you get that out of my post?

And, he did have a criminal record: stealing a North Korean propaganda poster.

His parents would have known about his trip to North Korea and probably paid for it. They would have been in the position to give him advice. Either they failed in communicating the dangers, or he didn't value their advice, (or they possibly encouraged him to travel) but in any instance, they failed.

And, my list does not allocate responsibility equally, but in descending order.

Let's see, you're the father of a kid arrested in N. Korea and the administration calls you and tells you not to say anything to the press. Then, the same administration tells you not to tie a yellow ribbon around your tree and won't keep you updated on your son's situation.

You can't talk about it but they won't keep you updated either.

I have no idea why he'd be mad at the previous administration.

You don't sound like a parent. I give my almost 19-year-old advice all the time. Sometimes he takes it and sometimes he doesn't but I treat him like a grown man and let him succeed or fail based on his own decisions. It doesn't mean I don't give him advice, it just means he makes his own decisions.

How in the fuck do you know they didn't tell him not to go to N. Korea?

The previous administration warned him not to go. They did their job. He decided to go anyway. It's on him.

I guess I value personal responsibility a little more than you, and I don't look for people to blame my problems on.

What "the fuck" do you think they told him?

Warmbier's family declined to have an autopsy performed on him, the Hamilton County Coroner's Office in Ohio said Tuesday, deciding that only an "external examination" would be performed. It was not immediately clear why the family made its decision.

Do they really care what caused his death? Seems not.

I saw that, too, and agree it doesn't make any sense. You always get an autopsy done.
