Cincy has the tiebreaker vs Buffalo, do Buff is the 4 seed right now....
Yeah, I was looking at that wrong. Buff would most likely host NE or Indy. Slightly tougher wild card game than hosting LAC or LV.

Bills by 10+ over the Pats in round 3 of the season series... ;)

ya 2 sat games

I could see NE not caring where they are seeded really...you could even make case lower is better because then if you get a W you play tenn

there have been a few years that BB has punted the last week when he had nothing to play for although the line of -5.5 @ Miami (Miami's annual superbowl) suggests otherwise

KC, Cincy, Tennessee

Buffalo, NE, Indy

Two "tiers" though I would say they are all pretty effing close. Any team that makes it has a shot basically, sans maybe the Chargers or Raiders

Just looking at this a little more, I think pretty much every team will try to get the highest seed possible. The lower seeded teams are just a lot better than past years now that they can upset a higher seeded team. If you get the 5 seed, you could possibly host a game rd 2 if everything breaks right in the AFC. No Brock Osweiller walking through that door in the AFC this year.

Kind of odd the Bengals are catching 3 points at Cleveland in Week 18? Maybe that line will change

As a Cincy fan, I wants Raiders/Chargers first round. Seems like the ceiling is the 3 seed. Can Raiders/Chargers get 6? I haven't looked much at how the tiebreakers work out for 10-7 wild card teams, aside from the Patriots would be the 5th seed if they don't win the AFC East

There's also a part of me that wants the 4 seed. Maximize chances of playing Tenny in the Divisional Round I like our chances there much better than at Arrowhead. Of course, just getting out of Wild Card round is a big accomplishment for the Bengals :)

Maybe Burrow health is an issue, I dunno. That is weird tho as they would still be incentivized to try and get the 3 seed.

Only way those teams don’t get 7 is if Indy loses to jags

if raiders beat chargers Indy doesn’t drop to 7 from head to head?

I agree. I'd take the 4 seed over the 3 seed. I'd rather play the Titans round 2 than the Chiefs. Of course, ya gotta win the week before to get there..

Eh, but like I said Brock Osweiller isn't walking through that door. These lower seeded teams are good and can win, if Raiders don't make the playoffs the biggest line will be like KC -6.5 over LAC. Indy will probably be around +3ish @ Cincy, NE 3.5ish @ Buff. Chaos can happen. Why not be better positioned to get a home game if one of these teams in the 2/3 spot gets knocked off?

If Derek henry gets some reps this week could really energize this team more. They were right there last year and this team has some quality experience some veteran players with a coach that motivates his troops.

Agree, I'd rather play @ Tenn than @ KC straightup but I wouldn't wanna punt some % of equity of getting a home game vs a lower seed to do it.

I think the Titans look like the best team in the NFL 2 or 3 weeks every year. But never 2 or 3 weeks in a row

Green Bay might be the only team you could say that's been consistent
