Ok i been wanting to ask you this.....

Ive read a lot of the poker posts from years ago.when you were just starting out....and yes ladies and gentleman its true that at 1 time Matt was as green as anybody else...

Can you pinpoint any book, article, conversation, etc , that turned the corner for you???? what made the lightbulb in your head light up is i guess what im trying to ask?????

and that IMO is the best poker show on tv today...even the announcers are good...

btw, is anyone sweating me right now and just seeen what I went through. 55r at Stars I get QQ all in vs 77 on flop 7 river for chiplead. tilt 163 AA all in vs 88 for chiplead, lose, 33 all in vs AA on K392 board, A river, I lose and Im still 14/45 at tilt 163. I am shaking, I'm so sick, fkn 55r bs, I did suckout once in that tourney though.

but anyway, no I can't pinpoint anything, def no books, cuz no tourney books have overly impressed me, hanging out and talking wtih lilholdem954 on aim and on the phone has helped a bit lately as has talking to mman_status on aim all the time, these are 2 of the top online tourney players, imo both are top 20 easily. mman_status is probably the most underrated tourney player on the net.

raise a lot, don't get into the habit of calling, usually better to 3 bet then to coldcall a raise, coldcalling is rarily correct though at times it is. play the button and button +1 aggressively, if its folded to you, you should be raising a lot of hands

Raise even with 82/53/k3? WOW, you should come and play at the WPEX.

no, i didnt say taht, but yes raising K3s on the button when folded to you is fine unless the bb is an expert and a strong defender. Raising with 53s is also fine.

yeah those were all my own hands, I use pokertracker for cash games. I don't really use anything for MTTs, sometimes I'll upload them to Pokerxfactor and rewatch them.
