Is Carl really dead or are they trolling the fans again

Absurd that Rick wouldn't try to kill Negan right then and there and end the whole thing.

Showrunner Scott Gimple fucked the golden egg goose by killing of Carl

Un Fukkin Believable

Especially if they do i it this way. If they wanted to kill him, they should have had Negan behead him right in front of everyone, with Maggie and the kingdom coming just a second later. That would have been cool. But to just have him get bit doing nothing is kind of lame. I'm betting they save him somehow.

Negative Chazz. He was fired. His father confirmed on a rant against AMC and Gimple. AMC and Gimple annoyed at the raise he asked to film this season.

He was to become TWD's lead after Rick Grimes died in the story (which has not happened in the comics but some argue is close to happening, especially since he lost a hand in the comics and his body is all banged up).

How much you think Rick makes an episode? $1mill or over is my bet. $750k absolute minimum. I know Norman Reedus makes the same as Andrew Lincoln (Rick).

Things we know:
*Chandler (Carl) asked for a raise for current season 8, which was granted but not without hassle from AMC.
*Carl is the 2nd biggest character in the comics, on the show that spot is for Daryl.
*Chandler was told by the showrunner that he was needed for at least 3 seasons more (9, 10, 11).
*Chandler bought himself a property in Georgia after being told he was needed for 3 more seasons.
*He was fired 2 months before his 18th bday... with no notice, he only knew this when he was filming the episode in which he gets bit.
*Andrew Lincoln (Rick) is rumored to be extremely unhappy with the decision and demanding an end game plan for the show in 2 seasons.

Kid was thrown under the bus either by AMC (using Gimple as a puppet) or Gimple himself...

granted for having poor acting skills as well, but poor actor or not you dont kill the story to save some $$$ or avoid dealing with some acting classes (or tons of takes to get a good performance).... BOTTOM LINE, kid is 17, he can still become a way better actor, TWD shoot themselves in the foot, most fans say theyll still watch but are done supporting Gimple or AMC with the show...

Wow. Sick to see Rick holding his dying son. That man has lost so much.

I feel like this show is not declining but I'm finding myself less and less interested. Negan is my favorite villain by far so I should be way more into this season. I hate Carl but I didn't enjoy his death like i should have.

When does saul come back?

Tonight was one of the top 5 worst episodes in twd history.

You watch that garbage?

The show that nothing ever happens in. You watch the walking dead but can't find time to make a bet. Stupid.

I was finding the show harder and harder to want to watch for a couple years now. This year I found myself with the last 8 episodes or so backed up on my DVR with no desire to watch. Tried a few times , would watch 10 minutes then turn it off. Just assumed I'd get back into it and avoided threads like this like the plague.

Then a couple weeks ago on a sports talk channel the topic was "hate watching" One of the most mentioned shows was Walking Dead. The gist is people still watch because they watched for so many years they feel like they have to even though they don't like it anymore.

I was like... THATS ME!! . It was a wake up call and I decided to just delete all 8 + episodes I had saved. I've officially given up..

The show has been slowly getting worse for a while now with occasional powerful moments. Negan is always captivating when on screen. 75% of the new episodes are clearly thrown together with no care.

I have to look at it as a whole. And from that perspective it's still my favorite show of all time. My wife and I were newly dating when I asked her "hey there's a new show on amc starting tonight that looks interesting, want to watch?" That was 8 years ago and we haven't missed an episode yet. So it means a lot to me from that viewpoint. Plus everything these characters have been through together.

We def don't get excited like we used to for it. This show used to really be something special. My wife has been in full blown hate watching mode since Glenn and how that all went down. I'm still holding on for hope for those powerful moments.

Too much SJW bullshit in it. That's why I had to quit it.

Realistically, it's a show that should've been top for 15 years...... but they SJW'd it to death.

In my opinion, this show is no where near as exciting as it was years ago. And now this thing with Morgan crossing over to the other show makes no sense at all. They should have just killed Negan and ended it.

Honestly, the show was SJW'd to death.

Can you imagine Little House on the Prairie.... or some other famous show.... and they bring 5 wild transvestites on the country range talking about trannies in the bathroom..... that's what TWD did. Stick to making a great show instead of SJW'ing your show to death.
