Nothing solid has been determined so far. Coaster has suggested meeting at Batistas but some have shot that down.

All meetings will take place at the Golden Nugget Sportsbook unless specifically stated otherwise.

translation :::: All meeting will take place at the GN sportsbook unless Quantamleap is stuck over at cheetahs then its stated otherwise:laugh::laugh:

Has anyone been to Casa Di Amore on 2850 E. Tropicana ? Old Italy with great food ! Love that place ! Review journal reviewers gave it straight A's in all 4 catergories a few years back. It's a few miles off the strip however.

This place looks good.
If anyone wants to check it out, here is the website. You can also check out the Menu

http://www.casadiamore.com/index.html

p.s. For those High Rollers ( Like Dante ) You could even get a Limo

The Cheetahs meetings will have to be contained in another thread.

Binions is close and I love Beef!!!
No cabs..........easy to get our act together.
Good idea.

I think "walking distance" is the best plan?

I've eaten at Binion's Steakhouse too. Here's a review of it:

Binion's Ranch Steakhouse writes...
The most spectacular view downtown Las Vegas has to offer. Binion's Ranch Steakhouse is located high above Las Vegas on the 24th floor. USDA prime aged steaks prepared to your liking while listening to our baby grand player piano sets the mood for a romantic candlelit dinner when celebrating special occasions. We proudly serve the best Lobster Bisque in Las Vegas along with traditional entrees such as Filet Mignon with an Australian Lobster Tail, Prime Rib of Beef, twenty one (21) ounce Porterhouse Steak, Halibut, Salmon, beer battered Prawns, and our signature dish "Chicken Fried Lobster". Great dining atmosphere for those times when you just want a great steak and a great view...Las Vegas' best kept secret.<LI id=RestaurantProfile_RestaurantProfileInfo_RestaurantProfileDffBubble_dff_bubble>

Lets vote on it.

We have to determine which times and dates will work. The main meal to choose is Friday night as most of us will be in town then. We can choose other meals depending upon who is in town at that time.

We can also have separate groups for Friday night depending on who wants to eat where. Perhaps we can vote on that meal first. Then we can have more suggestions for Saturday lunch and Sunday meals. After that we can have suggestions for meals during the week.

i vote for Main St. Station, buffet or brewpub, both have excellent food, 5 minute walk from the nugget, reasonably priced, atmosphere more appropriate for a group of men, not romantic or formal. They would have something everyone would like not limited to steak or seafood or thai or whatever.

Looks like we have quite a few votes for Main Street Station. It appears to have a good setting and the prices are reasonable. Should we go here for lunch? If so, Saturday lunch, Sunday lunch, ???

Or do some prefer having it at night?
