I will be driving to the bash, thus I will be taking a truckload of posters to my favorite vegas hot spots.

Up to 2003, had been in 99% of the bars and restaurants in the ENTIRE town, thus I know some good places.

Safest driver you will ever have the pleasure of being a passenger with sir...........tremendous defensive driver.


As a bonus, my Honda Ridgeline is rated 5 stars plus for safety on frontal and side impacts.

main street station has the best buffet downtown. It's just a nice place in general, in fact, and the brewery has some very nice beers.

If you're brave enough, the gold spike has re-opened and it used to have my favorite greasy spoon breakfast diner. It was unbelievably cheap. Not only is fried ham and eggs wonderful at 4am, but when it's something like a buck 99 it becomes sublime.

when i lived out there years ago, they had a cheap breakfest at the lady luck for 49 cents that dump still around? Lol whereever i go for breakfest, gotta be early cause saratoga runs at 9am and ill be handicapping during the night

Don't be one of the poor, misled guys lured into that downtown strip joint. It won't be a good experience. A few years ago a buddy of mine arrived in town several hours before I got in and, suffering from the effects of too many beers before 3pm, made a trip inside. To this day he still claims that at least two of the dancers had given birth as recently as that very morning.

Obviously we're going to get a difference of opinion. Anyone else have any experience with Batista's? How is the price there?

Nothing solid has been determined so far. Coaster has suggested meeting at Batistas but some have shot that down.

All meetings will take place at the Golden Nugget Sportsbook unless specifically stated otherwise.

Has anyone been to Casa Di Amore on 2850 E. Tropicana ? Old Italy with great food ! Love that place ! Review journal reviewers gave it straight A's in all 4 catergories a few years back. It's a few miles off the strip however.
