Okay, I've had a lot of people ask me to keep posting Adams plays but this time with the idea of fading him after he loses and following him after he wins, because the guy is so damn streaky. I figured, what the hell, why not, let's see if this is a better strategy. Adams has lost the past 2 days so the play for today will be to FADE him. I'm not going to run a Labby or fade based on his unit sizes, but just flat bet the system to win the same amount each day.

Trace Adams play for today is in NCAA Football: Ohio U Bobcats +6

Trace Adams Write-Up for Wednesday

Wednesday's Selection ...

For Wednesday night in college football, Top-Rated 1000♦ Winner #20 of 32 will be the visiting Ohio U Bobcats as the underdog against the host Ball State Cardinals. As of 8:00 am eastern when I release this selection, the Bobcats are +6 point dogs in Muncie tonight.

Just get the feeling that this is a little too many points for the surging Cardinals to cover. Yes, Ball State did win and cover their 4th in a row last week against Top-25 rated Toledo, but that Cardinals defense did show plenty of "give" in that game, and the Bobcats are a team that is capable of exploiting that "give" and making things close once again in this rivalry.

The last 2 meetings have seen the road team walk away with the field goal win, and then their is the fact that State's last 6 wins read like this: 2pts, 4pts, 6pts in OT, 9pts, 8pts, & 7pts. Kinda close wouldn't you say?

The Cards are 2-0 against the spread this season when installed as the home favorite, but just 3-5 in that role overall the past 4 seasons. Meanwhile, the Bobcats are listed as the underdog for just the 2nd time this year - the 1st was an outright win at Penn State on the first week of the year. Frank Solich's team has excelled in the underdog role, going 11-4-1 as the road pup since the 2008 campaign.

No doubt the momentum in this game rests on the side of the host, but this impost is just a little too high for my liking. This one very well could be decided once again by another field goal.

Take the Bobcats plus the points.

Trace Adams Game Analysis

Thursday's Selection ...

For Thursday night, 1500♦ Lead Pipe Lock Winner is the Virginia Cavaliers as the home underdog against the visiting North Carolina Tar Heels. As of 6:30 am eastern time at the time I release my selection, the Cavs are +3 1/2 point dogs to the Heels.

Not so sure the correct team is favored in this game, as you have a North Carolina team that just allowed 68 points to be scored on them last weekend at home against Georgia Tech. It is a UNC team that will not be participating in a bowl game due to NCAA sanctions, and it is a North Carolina team that is 0-4 against the spread on the road this year, with an 0-3 mark as the road favorite and just 1 straight up win when favored on the road!

True, Virginia's 6 game slide this year was a "red flag", but Mike London's team has now recorded wins over NC State and Miami-Florida their last 2 games, and stand at 4-6 with a slim shot at making it back to a bowl if they can win their last 2 games.

Not only that, but London's plan to use both Michael Rocco and Phillip Sims under center has proven to be a boon. The Cavaliers are in double-revenge tonight, and they are also thinking postseason, so I expect another fired-up effort from the home underdog under the Thursday night college lights.

Go Wahoos plus the points in Charlottesville!

Adams also has a Bonus play tonight in the NBA and he is on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

If you are following the Hybrid System then we won't know if we are fading the Thunder or following the Thunder until after the 1st game is complete. The College Hoops game starts at 5:00 PM Eastern and the NBA Game starts at 8:00 PM Eastern, so there is a 3 hour window which should give us time to get in the 2nd bet.

Trace Adams Friday Game Analysis

Friday's Selections ...

For Friday night in college basketball, I have a Top-Rated 1000♦ Double-Digit Rout going on the NC State Wolfpack as the favorite against the Massachusetts Minutemen. This game is a 5:00 pm eastern jump at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, so make sure to get down on this sucker early. I am seeing a line of NC State -7 1/2 as of 11am eastern time. In the NBA, 500♦ Best Bet is the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder as the favorite against the New Orleans Hornets. The Thunder are -6 point favorites at the time I release this pick at 8:30 am eastern time.

UMass has been living on a slim reed to start the new season, as the Minutemen won their opening game over Harvard with a 3 at the buzzer, and they won their opening round game in San Juan over Providence also at the buzzer. No doubt Derek Kellog's team is going to make noise in the A-10 this season, but I think today is the day their bubble bursts, and they get run over by a stacked NC State team.

The Wolfpack have covered double-digits twice in as many games to start the season, winning by 38 points over Miami-Ohio, and by 17 points yesterday in their tourney opener versus Penn State.

Mark Gottfried's team returns the top 4 scorers from last year's team, and also has a trio of freshman that come highly-touted. This team is loaded and is the front runner to take the ACC crown this season.

Massachusetts to hang for a while, but the emotion of starting the season with 2 last second wins catches up to the Minutemen today. Wolfpack to pull away and cover with ease.

NBA best bet is the Thunder, fresh off their home loss to Memphis on Wednesday, as OKC was buried by 10 at home to the rolling Grizzlies. The sledding gets a little easier against a Hornets team that is without guard Eric Gordon and just welcomed back #1 draft pick Anthony Davis after concussion symptoms.

Oklahoma City had won 5 in a row prior to their loss to Memphis, and the Thunder is on a 4 game series winning streak. Overall, the Thunder has captured 8 of the last 9 meetings with the Hornets, and they have covered in 7 of the last 9. The only 2 non-covers come the last 2 times out but in those wins, OKC was favored by double-digits.

With the line a little more respectable tonight, I say back the Thunder to cover this impost.
