If we don't open soon , the depression back in the early 1900's will look like a picnic compared to whats' coming.. You obviously haven't thought it all the way thru
It's obvious to most, including your far right wing buddies, that you are incapable of thinking anything "all the way thru."

The craziest thing is how so many people are so helpless and have so little control over themselves that they look to the government to control every aspect of their life. I still have the freedom to do whatever I was able to do before this pandemic. About the only thing I can't do is operate a non-essential business where more than a few people gather. How many of us were really doing that two months ago? This doom and gloom Enfuego is constantly talking about because the casinos and movie theaters are closed is wrong.

Conceivably things could turn out quite grim, even apocalyptic (see the book of Revelation in the Bible, for an example of apocalyptic literature). I have an open mind re what the economic future holds depending on how leaders loose restrictions. See also, for example, the thread i just created re the mental effects of this present crisis, which speaks of depression, suicides, etc.

we could start a long list of what's closed and what we can't do .. its a lot more than just an inconvenience of casinos and movie theatres..

Im starting to root for an apocalypse due to Enflameo lmao. I want to see one of these mother fuckers turn into a zombie and then see what he has to say. Lmfaoooooo

”oh it’s just one instance....this will blow over in a month.”

You can't have both - that's not an option - would you rather have the US near depression like conditions or 500K dead? I honestly have no clue which u would favor - feel like it's a total coin flip

I'm not gonna be able to watch a sporting event I enjoy for god knows how long and this idiot saying it is over folks.

Might as well just make fun of him for his absurdity. He's gotta be doing performance art at this point.

I hate to say it but it really looks like sports could be locked down for a very long time - outside of golf or possibly MMA - but I just can't see LSU playing Bama with no crowd

I said from the very beginning the answer to this. Save as many of lives as you can now. And then rebuild the economy. It’s not just what I’m saying....my governor recently said the same thing....take a look at his political affiliation. It’s what you do when you’re facing a pandemic of this magnitude.

I know one thing... I will not downplay a pandemic. That’s not in my nature to do that.

And y’all know me I’m one of the first to have a conspiracy theory for shit or call out bullshit. Or not believe the hype, etc, etc.

This is real deal Holyfield

Seymour, are you saying that libtards/democrats are rooting for a depression and
a huge amount of deaths so that trump will look bad?

I read though about a guy in Michigan with a lake cabin and was prevented from even going to his lake cabin by himself. The Doom and Gloom Democrats have overstayed their welcome.

No, the media took it's cue from the Democratic party and are trying to make Trump's response to this pandemic and subsequent economy crash look as bad as humanely possible.

Being able to go to the gym or a baseball is not a right. Two months ago, those business owners could have not provided you service. Unless you are the owner of the baseball team or the gym, the autonomy you have over yourself hasn't changed because they were told to shut down. It's just Enfuego trying to shove his doom and gloom agenda on everyone else.
