I'm from Louisville, fellow big east member and ex CUSA member with Marquette. I listned yesterday to a interview with Coach Pitino and they asked him if there was one team that no one would really think could make some noise in the tourney, who would that be. He immediatley said Marquette, and believe you me, the 2 schools hate one another, so for Pitino to say a kind word struck me as odd. He talked about thier ability to play any style of game, up tempo, slow down, zone, whatever was needed. He really liked their chances to advance; and so do i. And if they dont, i dont want a knob job from the author of this thread. This is just some info i am sharing, use it or dont

One thing you guys are over looking is the play by freshman Dominic James. I am an alum of MU this kid is 10 times better than Dwayne Wade was a this time. He is a force. The suppoters are playing well and Crean is an outstanding coach. I think Mu was picked next to last in the Big East and look what they have done. Ride this train for a while until Mu goes against a strong inside power team. Novak is the purest shooter I have ever witnessed.
That is not a homer call either.

Mu will be well prepared and win this by double digits.

Just my thought.
