Same prize I get for 5th. Now I am less irritated you turned 2 pair on my TPTK. :toast:

i think there's a few people that are still learning to play poker, lol.

Anyways for now i have to play the way i do because i can't stand bluffers or people who try and steal the pot. yes i know bluffing is part of the game but i pretty much take that out of the equation. Of course anyone can get donked out too just like sucking out is part of the game. I already accept that i can get donked out and sucked out but the bluffing part after the flop, turn, river i still need practice and patience. Yes i'm still learning to play also.

thank you for the freeroll Betallsports, it didn't seem like a lot of people played last week, was good to see more people this week otherwise i'm experienced enough that stuff like this can go away if nobody cares, thanks again.

Well Hope not, because it Kicks in Weekly now... Every Monday Night

Yeah, weren't you the one that just kept pushing your stack in over and over pre flop?

you are EXACTLY right. Few times it has happened already that i was the 1st one out of the tournament but that's my personality right now. I go big or go home instead of wasting time. I'm not scared of losing, getting donked out, or sucked out.

beginning of yesterday i was playing to see the flop but then i shifted gears because i didn't feel right.

Is it possible that a 2 7 off suite can beat a top 10 starting hand? yes it's possible and i'm ok if this happens to me. The reason why i can handle it is because i know when i keep playing in tourneys this will happen from time to time but in the long run, that stupid hand is not going to win.

The next gameplan that i have for myself is to plan 1 month in advance for me to play in the $28 tourney plus $2 fee everyday so that's about 30 times with no rebuy. I'd be interested to see if i have any luck and how many times i'll get donked out. I'm thinking the higher tourneys like these have lessser people that will go all in from a 2 7 hand so we'll see.

The $10,000 GTD is the tourney i am thinking of for the $28 entry and $2 fee held everyday at 3pm pacific and 6 eastern. Based on the prize payout structure it seems that if i can place in the top 10 three times out of 30 i can have my money back. More importantly it would be nice to place top 1 or 2 and then for sure i made money out of my 30 entries. Gambling is gambling so we'll see.

You priced me in to make the flop call. :103631605:103631605

Yeah, not sure if you remember but I paused for a second before putting in that flop bet. I gave my sizing some close consideration.

I knew you are not a bad enough player to call an overbet with a hand that I am ahead of there. So that was out as I definitely wanted some value out of it.

I could have gone the more standard c-bet sizing, but I figured if I made it look suspicious and weak you were a tricky enough player to maybe come over top of that with middle pair or even air. It was the old "button raise then c-bet" move that I was hoping you'd call bullshit on and I could get your chips in almost dead, considering I did flop big there.

Of course the risk you run when you size like that is someone flatting you with a 5-outer and connecting on the turn and then it's very hard for me to fold.

I have no regrets though.

I play in that tourney pretty regularly. There are a lot of bad players in there, so if you think people won't call your shoves light, you will find out you are wrong.

Don't take this the wrong way, but the "I'm just going to shove all my chips in preflop so no one sucks out on me or pushes me off my hand with a bluff" is a horrid strategy. You are leaving way too much value out on the table doing that. When you have AJ you WANT people putting chips in with AT (for example).

All you are doing when you make massive overbets like that is folding out the worse hands and getting stacked by the better ones.

If I were you I'd work a LOT on my bet sizing and general theory before venturing into the $30 MTT range. I'm not saying that to be a dick, just some friendly advice.

yes i know you want people to put in chips for AJ without shoving it all in. That's where coaching can come in to let me know way ahead of time that hey, keep doing this and exactly this for 30 days straight and then you'll see what happens. I would follow a coach's EXACT orders for 1 month straight or so knowing that when i keep doing it, i am going to make money. I wouldn't care about losses here and there.

Right now, i like the way that i play. I understand how people might not like the way i do it at the table because i am very dangerous. I know what real poker players like to do. They like to 3 bet and play the game a certain way. I am not on their level so my shove can make them fold 3 bet without letting them play it out.

My opinion is that your strategy works best in cash games. I can tell you right off the bat even i know my strategy doesn't work in cash games. But anyways, you know how i play and i've been doing it for a while now. Again, people get very angry with me like "OH MY GOD! THAT WAS SICK!" my king queen off suite knocks out a guy with QQ.

Good hand vs good hand showdown is what i like. I don't want anyone to be scared. If you're scared then you're just going to raise, then fold. Then i just keep adding my stack. Fact is that you don't know what i really have. I have a good hand but you don't know if it's a suited Ace or a pair of aces. All i prove is that in the end, poker is a gamble. The longer you play in poker, the more it's going to be like a parlay. A straight bet is only a straight bet in sports betting if you bet it that 1 time and then never bet again for like a year. But most people when they win a straight bet, they bet again, and again, and again. So then what? yeah, exactly. It's just a parlay.

I guarantee you if everyone was so great, they wouldn't even CARE about the freerolls, so that's how i know we are all just gamblers. Some of us might think we are better than others but in the end, it's just gambling. It's just entertainment. You lose most of the time but sometimes you win big and when you do, hopefully you do something really nice with the money to enjoy yourself.

So you only bet $100 a unit for a season at a time? it's still a parlay because chances are you don't bet 1 unit at a time at $100 a game for just 1 season. You have a good season and then you go again the next season. Some guys are so good they have 8 seasons in a row if making money! But you know what? anything can happen during the 9th season, 10th season, 11th season, and so forth. There is no guarantee that after 8 seasons of winning every single of those 8 seasons, that you will have another 8 winning seasons. That's what i also mean about straight bets still being a parlay. The only guaranteed winning season is the money you save from GUARANTEED income like a JOB or PENSION, that's it

Harry Caray, the answer to your question is that I WANT people to call my shoves ABSOLUTELY. If i get knocked out then i do, it's just on to the next freeroll or tournament, i never complain and i never whine. I am not the guy that talks about bad beats because i already know it can happen. If it's my day then i'll have a chance to get a top 3 prize or something. If it's totally not going to be my day then i just let it go. I promise you i am not going to be the idiot rebuy guy that keeps doing it at the table after they get beat. Don't you think those are so annoying? i absolutely can't stand it. I'm like golly you back at it again and again? PLEASE.

If they're a bad player, then you want them to rebuy.

yeah but they won't really know my strategy. Even if they get to know my strategy and see my cards, that's ok too. I can make the adjustments when stuff isn't happening in my favor.

How many tournaments have you played to this day? HC, FZ and myself have played prolly over 100k hands in our lifetime... and that's trying to underestimate it... if poker was as easy as you say people would be making shit tons of $ as soon as they start to play. That just doesnt happen... like FZ said, you'll learn.

winning top 10 3 times out of 30 in a month is not making a shit tons of money. $400 times 3 that's about $1200 minus $900 so that's $300 what are you talking about? Before i go any further, it is dawning the hell out of me. Is your poker handle PK and then some numbers? i knocked you out with my kq suck out hand, ohhhhhhhhhhh, now i totally understand your fight in here if that's you : )
