Just looking to close the first two rounds with a winner Sunday.
There are a lot of adjectives I could use today to describe the Creighton/Auburn game from Saturday!!!
Down 7 with 1:39 to go, center Ryan Kalkbrenner goes to the line with the chance to cut it to 5.
He makes 1 of 2, the Tigers come down and get a layup and the foul, Denver Jones completes the 3-point play to push it to 9.
Steven Ashworth misses the 3 on the other end completing a 1-6 2nd half performance by him, and that is your ballgame.
So fu#$#king frustrating watching the 2nd half of that game by Creighton. After a rock solid first half leading 37-35 at the break, just the defensive breakdowns.
Let's move on.
All I can do is deliver this 100 dimer today and take the momentum into next week.
