Happy Thanksgiving!

Are we going to see another "buy the half" today? That's a solid bet ...

The Pick: My 100 Dime winner is the Detroit Lions.

The Line:
The current line is -9 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of Noon EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis

They will get the monkey off their back in a very big way.

This is Dan Campbell's 4th Thanksgiving day game as head coach of the Lions. Yes, he is 0-3 SU but a money making 2-1 ATS.

His first year in 2021 I used the Lions as a 3-point home dog against these Bears and got the 50 dime winner as the Lions lost 16-14.

In 2022 I used the Lions as a 10-point home dog against Buffalo and they should have won the game outright but faltered late losing 28-25.

I didn't touch them last year and as a 7 1/2 point favorite they lost to the Packers 29-22.

They have now lost 7 straight on Thanksgiving day and the betting public is expecting that number to go to 8.

They have moved this line 2-points from the opening (-11') to its current number of (9') but as you are about to find out, the public will be WRONG today.

First and foremost, this Lions team is an NFL best (9-2 ATS) or (9-1-1 ATS).

The Texans line was -3 1/2 and most people with any common sense would have bought the 1/2 point and laid 3 with Detroit in 26-23 win.

Either way, they have the best cover margin in the NFL through 11 games (10.4) since the 2019 Ravens and Niners.

Look at their last 3 home games.

They scored 42 against Seattle, won by 13 and they beat the Vegas number by 9.

They scored 52 against the Titans, won by 38 and beat the Vegas number by 25

They scored 52 against the Jags, won by 46 and beat the Vegas number by 32.

Lost in the shuffle of those offensive numbers are the fact the last 3 weeks their defense has been the best defense in the NFL.

They have given up a touchdown in the last 10 quarters.

It was 3 weeks ago they played their ass off in Houston, overcoming 5 Jared Goff INT's and holding the Texans scoreless in the 2nd half in the comeback win.

The last 2 weeks they held the Jags and Colts to a pair of field goals in the blowout wins.

You know how hard it is to maintain defensive intensity in blowouts???? It's so easy to give up 4th quarter scores in blowouts playing the good ole prevent defense.

Not these Lions. No matter how many points they are up by, defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn keeps blitzing. No backdoor bullshit here.

I see nothing, I repeat nothing, this Chicago Bears team is going to do that leads me to believe they can stay within single digits of this 2024 Lions team today.

They have lost 5 in a row SU (1-4 ATS) and are coming off 3 straight losses at home.

An embarrassing loss to the Patriots 19-3, blew the game 2 weeks ago due to special teams to the Packers and last week a heartbreaker in OT to Minny 30-27.

Off that gut wrenching loss, they now roll into this Lions Den (no pun intended) and face the hottest team in the NFL with the best record in the NFL at 10-1.

With the Eagles and Vikings sitting at 9-2, the Lions can ill afford a hiccup in a game like this if they want home field as their path to the Super bowl.

People of America, there will be no hiccup today.

Couple of numbers for you: If the Lions are facing a losing team coming off consecutive SU/ATS wins, they have won and covered 7 in a row.

When riding a 3-game winning streak and playing at home the Lions are 11-2 SU and ATS with a win .pct of greater than .690.

Lastly, since 2020, the Lions are 17-1 ATS when coming off a double-digit ATS win. Let's make that 18-1 ATS after today.

Dan Campbell and Detroit snap the streak with an emphatic win today.

I think most of America is doing Lions ML or -3.5, parlayed with Cowboys ML and Pack ML. It's +184 and +225, respectively.
I was on it because I also loved the under here, and I love the under in the Dolphins Packers game as well.

Not touching the Cowboys game, please note.

Let's make it 12 in a row with the hottest release in the country.
It was a week ago on Tuesday night I handed you 75 dime winner #11 in a row on Miami/Ohio (-2) 20-9 over Northern Illinois.
In this run of 11 in a row I handed you #8 in a row a week earlier on Tuesday with Bowling Green (-9') by 18 over Western Michigan.
Now these two meet with the winner punching their ticket to the MAC championship game next week.
Do I ride and die with Bowling Green at home or jump on the RedHawks as a small road dog.
Considering how hot I have been in the MAC and this 75 dimer is going for 12 in a row, I think it's safe to assume I will deliver this winner early today.
As for Thanksgiving yesterday, I would personally like to say thank you to Lions running back Jamari Gibbs for his fumble at the end of the first half at the Bears 3 yard line.
No fumble, Lions first and goal with 50 seconds to go, 2 time outs. Staring down the barrel of a 23-0 half and we have ourselves a winner.
Nope. I turned the game off after that fumble and went about my day just knowing that was going to be death and it sure was.
Glad I didn't stick around and watch the Lions throw up all over themselves.
Its back to college the next 2 days where I have been getting it done all year long.
So I say to you again, do you really want to bet against me today???
You have all the documentation and validation you need that this game today will not lose.
It's 75 dime winner #12 in a row. It's college winner #12 of 16 and overall college
It's time to deliver.

Who the fuck is Jamari Gibbs?
Is that Jahmyr Gibbs' brother?

Lang, you fucking clown! Keep blaming other people for your shitty picks losing.
And when you do blame them, at least get their names right. :ROFLMAO:

The Line:
The current line is -2 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of Noon EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

Note: If your line is anywhere from -3 to -4 1/2, I advise you to buy the 1/2 point down on Bowling Green.

He didn't say what day. Could have been Monday or maybe Tuesday. Brandon and that operation are really buttoned up over there.🙄 Let's ask Jamari Gibbs or maybe Gerald Goff....maybe one of them can decipher.
