Yep, has steelers and pokes listed. Unless he changes his mind, it's the Steelers.
Correct once again my friend
The Pick: My
150 Dime winner is the
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Line: The current line is -3 in Vegas and offshore as of 8:00 am EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.
Update: If your line is anywhere from -3 to -4 12 I advise buying the 1/2 point down on the Steelers.
My Analysis
I am all over the home team here.
What have the Dallas Cowboys done this year that leads you to believe they are an elite football team?
Week one at Cleveland they won, but only had 265 yards in total offense in doing so.
Oh, and that is a 1-3 Browns team.
They came back home in week 2 and got slaughtered by the Saints 44-19 and week 3 at home the Ravens dominated them 28-25 as Baltimore ran on them for 274.
Last week on Thursday night they beat the Giants 20-15 or should I say the Giants beat themselves with terrible coaching, terrible play calling, just terrible everything.
Now they travel to Pittsburgh to face a Steelers team without their 2 best players, Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence.
And to make matters even worse, Cornerback Caelen Carson is banged up with a shoulder injury Corner Trevon Diggs (ankle) didn't practice Friday.
So an already suspect defense, which can't stop the run, faces a team that wants to run it down your throat without your 2 best players and a banged up secondary!!!!!
On the other side of the ball, they have a rookie left tackle in Tyler Guyton, who can't block anyone and has 5 holding penalties this year, tied for 3rd in the NFL.
His offensive grade is 52.7, ranking 66th out of 77 offensive tackles in the league.
OUCH.
Allow me to introduce him to a part of beasts by the names of TJ Watt and Cameron Hayward.
If you think he struggled in the Giants game on the road, good luck in Pittsburgh.
As for the Steelers, dominate in week one at Atlanta 18-10, dominate in week two at Denver 13-6 and dominate in week 3 at home over the Chargers 20-10.
Last week at Indy, fell short after an incredible comeback 27-24.
I feel off the momentum of that comeback, back home, against this Dallas defense, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith is going to have a day.
Smith knows the Cowboys have trouble with mobile QB's as Lamar Jackson ran for 78 yards and DeShaun Watson averaged close to 6 yards a carry against them.
Pittsburgh will be able to run the football and I expect this Steelers offense to have a day and for their defense at home to dominate.
I will roll with the small home favorite tonight as Pittsburgh rolls.
