Now those aren't great numbers but they are what they are.
However, inside those numbers are 7 home starts for the season and Mr. Estes is 3-1 with 3 no decisions and a 2.40 ERA.
Best of all, the A's have won 6 of his 7 home starts this year.
Bottom line: some guys like pitching at home and some guys don't. I think it's pretty obvious which category Estes falls in to.
The Rays counter with Shane Bay, making his 8th start since returning from Tommy John surgery.
Baz is 0-2 with 5 no decisions and the Rays have gone 3-4 in those 7 starts.
Of his 7 starts 4 have come on the highway.
