The Pick: My 150 Dime winner is the Minnesota T'Wolves.

The Line: The current line is +4 in Vegas and offshore as of 6:20 am EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis

Going to ride the young bucks in game one tonight.

Late in the season the T'wolves rolled into Denver as a +7 12 point dog with both teams were playing on back to back nights.

Minnesota having just beaten the Wizards at home 130-121 the night before would be playing the game without center Karl Anthony Towns..

Denver, which was coming off a 111-95 win at Utah the night before, was at full strength.

Minnesota was rock solid leading by 2 after the 1st quarter and 3 at the half.

Denver made a little run to lead by 3 heading into the 4th and the game was back and forth the entire quarter and after a Mike Conley jr 3, it was 88-87 Denver with 8:27 to go.

That is when the Nuggets over the next 3 1/2 minutes went on a 9-0 run and that was all she wrote in the 116-107 win.

These 2 met 4 times in the regular season and they went 2-2 with both winning on the road.

However only 1 meeting between these two happened with both at full strength....at Minnesota on November 1st and the T'wolves blew out Denver 110-89.

The other 3 meetings Towns missed 2 of them, Gobert missed one and for Denver Murray missed one.

Of all the teams in the NBA, this young Minny team matches up very well with Denver, having 2 big bodies to throw at Jokic in Gobert and Anthony Towns.

You throw in Murray hobbled a bit with the calf injury and not 100% and the T'wolves off the sweep of Phoenix, I like the road team here.

Denver just doesn't look right to me and truth be told, if the Lakers had a coach, they would have knocked off the Nuggets in 6!!!

However, it is what it is and I am looking for the Nuggets to take this to the wire.

Don't be surprised to see the T'wolves win this game outright.

My Analysis

This is a trap line if I have ever seen one.

In games one and two in Cleveland, the Cavs were laying 5 1/2 and covered both winning game one by 14 and game two by 10.

They haven't covered a game since.

In Orlando for game three they were +3 and were blown out by 38 and in game four getting +2 1/2 they were blown out by 23

Back in Cleveland for game 5 and playing without starting center Jarrett Allen, they won 104-103 in a game they should have lost outright.

Back down to Orlando for game 6 and once again played without Allen and as a 4 1/2 point dog, they lost again 103-96 despite 50 points from Donovan Mitchell.

Now to game 7.

All reports are Allen is a no go today but even if he plays, I don't believe he will be the difference.

The difference will be Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland and just how much success they have from behind the arc.

Currently the Cavs are the 2nd worst team in the playoffs from 3 hitting a horrific 27%.

Think about this: Mitchell just went for 50 and the Cavs still lost. In the other 2 losses he went for 18 and 13.

A lot of pressure on Mr. Mitchell today.

The bottom line is I think the Magic are the better team, they are more balanced and I believe they will have a shot to win this game outright.

Grab the dog early today.
