My Analysis

Experience. Experience. And more experience.



The Howard Bison's make a return trip to the big show after winning their conference tournament, beating Delaware State in the final 70-67, failing to cover the -6.



They weren't ready to handle Kansas in the first round last year and now they get the play in game before taking on a #1 seed.



This Bison's team has won 7 of their last 8 games with the only loss, to #1 seed Norfolk State the last game of the regular season.



As a 3 1/2 road dog, they were destroyed 77-58.



They got their revenge in the semi-final round beating Norfolk state 80-74 as a 4-point dog as all 5 starters scored in double digits.



In the final win over Delaware State, they put 4 guys in double figures.



So as you can see folks, this is one experienced, balanced basketball team.



As for Wagner, I give them credit winning 3 straight against the 3 top seeds, cashing as underdogs.



However, now you are facing a team you aren't familiar with and that is going to be a problem.



Bottom line: Howard is the better team and the more complete team and I will gladly back them here all night long.

I had to close Sunday with a winner and my 75 dimer on Illinois (-3') over Wisconsin did just that as the Illini pulled away late for the 6-point win and cover.
Now it's time to build off that and over the course of the next 6 days deliver and deliver big.
We've all seen the brackets, the match ups and I can tell you this: There are some mistakes the linemakers have made. HUGE MISTAKES.
Time to gear up for another huge run in the big show.
And with the CIT, CBI and the NIT, plenty of basketball still to go here in March.
Let history show I've gone on some ungodly runs in March in the Big tournament. I mean, some ungodly runs.
