The duel threat QB had the Bears in a position to win leading 26-14 with just under 5 minutes to go and let it slip away.
The takeaway from that game was the Bears were beyond competitive and deserved to win, Fields looked fantastic and they have a lot of positives heading into tonight.
Bottom line: They are a different team with Fields.
As for the Vikings, they have survived without Kirk Cousins going 2-1 without him primarily because of the play of journeyman Joshua Dobbs.
The problem is don't I trust Dobbs laying points against anyone. End of story.

I look for them to go to 4-0 at home this year.
The Adrian Autry era started well for the Syracuse Orange as he ran off 3 straight home wins to start the year over New Hampshire, Cansisius and Colgate.
Then came the test, off to Hawaii to face Tennessee and Gonzaga.
Against Tennessee, the Orange stood toe to toe the entire way, trailing 61-56 with over 3 minutes to go before they went ice cold.
Their last 5 possessions were 0-4 from the floor with a turnover and the Vols closed the game on a 12-0 run for the 73-56 win.
Against Gonzaga, they had nothing left in the tank and got blown out 76-57 before finishing off the tourney with a beat down of Chaminade 105-56.
Back home, I expect this team to be ready and play well.
As for LSU, they started the year nice with a 106-60 win over Mississippi Valley State before being upset at home by Nichols State 68-66 as a 19 1/2 point home chalk.
And a 3-4 Nichols State team that lost to Denver and Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
Then it was off to the Charleston Classic where they lost to Dayton 70-67 before beating Wake Forest in OT 86-80.
They returned home to get the 75-63 win over North Florida, never coming close to covering the 22 1/2.
I like the look of this Cuse team and at home laying this kind of number, we won't get this kind of value later in the year.
