Well, came up short in my bid for a 5th straight college basketball winner last night as my 60 dimer on Cal Bakersfield just ran out of gas at Cal Northridge.
Down 40-28 at the half, they climbed their way all the way back to finally tie it at 59 with 5 minutes to go before allowing a 6-0 run and that was all she wrote.
Trust me folks, wanted 5 in a row badly and it was frustrating as hell watching the game to see Bakerfield's best player AnTavion Collum throw up brick after brick.
So after the 30 dime winners on Northwestern outright over Iowa Sunday and Cal Fullerton outright over Santa Barbara on Monday, confidence was riding high.
Then the 60 dime winner on Kansas State over Baylor Tuesday and 80 dime winner on Indiana State over Belmont on Wednesday, I really wanted that one last night.
Just wasn't meant to be.
However, still feel very confident heading into this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday run having hit 4 of my last 5.
This week is a very important week. I have to deliver and deliver big. End of story.
Tonight, it's back to 30 dime winner #3 in a row and 8 of my last 11 as I look to get back in the winners circle before attacking that HUGE Saturday card.
Let's keep it going.
