Sorry if this has been answered before, but could someone tell me for sure and once ad for all whether in fact Lang was the great athlete in

college he claims to be (I believe it was basketball) and was on his way to stardom in the NBA or whatever sport it was until some kind

of an injury permanently ended his career?

I suspect it is a myth and/or bs on his part but again I would like to hear from someone in the know whether it be Pimpy and/or someone

else.

Lang says Jerry took him to the side and told him that he was so good he could have been a walk on starter for his team, you know, the 1990 national championship team, lol.
Of course the movie depicts Lang as a rising college football QB that is headed to the NFL until an injury happens. Just more fantasy.
Lang considers himself some star athlete so he just lies about everything trying to impress people, just like his made up Super Bowl record.

Even though we all know Lang is a cheating, lying scumbag, I think grading the play a push is fair.
They don't grade his plays on his posted line but on what line is most available throughout the day and they have always done this.
He probably released it at +1 1/2 but it quickly went to +2 and then +2 1/2 later in the day.

Listen, they came back, took a 100-99 lead, and got back-to-back stops with less than 1:30 to play but couldn't get a bucket and the Bucks ended up with the 103-101 win.
The line was 2 most of the day, dipped down to 1 1/2 for about 2 hours, and then jumped to 2 1/2 for the last 2 hours.
In all fairness to all parties concerned, some won, some lost and some pushed so for record-keeping purposes here on the site, we will call it a push and move on.
Frustrated? Absolutely, as the Celtics horrendous 3rd quarter inevitably did them in, even with the spectacular 4th quarter.

Well, nice to get that 100 dime winner last night as the Sixers (-2) deliver the big-time win or should I say James Harden delivered the big-time win 116-108.
Every time the Heat made a run in the 4th quarter, the bearded wonder answered as he scored 16 in the final stanza to help secure the 8-point win.
Don't look now but I am 5-1 in the NBA Playoffs here in the month of May. Not too shabby.
I told you I loved these 2nd round matchups. I mean loved. In a good groove right now. A really good groove but I have to keep it going tonight.
